Abstract: A system for treating a part of a body to be treated, comprising a hand-held treating device, the treating device comprising a treating unit; wherein the treating device is configured such that a treating action of each portion of a plurality of portions of the treating unit can be selectively enabled and disabled independently of the treating action of the other portions of the treating unit; and a controller configured to receive information on a predetermined pattern to be created on the part of the body to be treated, and to selectively enable and disable the treating action of the portions of the treating unit according to the received information as the treating device is moved over the part of the body to create the predetermined pattern on the part of the body.
