Abstract: A method for checking tyres includes: arranging, at a checking device, a finished tyre that was moulded in a mould, and providing comparison data inclusive of a drawing of the mould and supplementary data. The method also includes: activating one or more detection devices to obtain a graphic representation of at least one sidewall of the finished tyre; activating a processing unit to perform a comparison between symbols included in the graphic representation and symbols defined by the comparison data; and generating, by the processing unit, a notification signal representative of a result of the comparison. A tyre checking apparatus is also described.

Abstract: A method comprising sending query data representative of a query to a first and second query-answering subsystem of a query-answering system. It is determined that the query-answering system lacks a satisfactory answer to the query. Paraphrase data representative of a rephrased version of the query is received. The paraphrase data is sent to the first and second query-answering subsystems. Answer data representative of an answer to the rephrased version of the query is received from the first query-answering subsystem.

Abstract: A display device for displaying the attitude of an aircraft with respect to a fixed direction in space is described, said device comprising: a first element that can be fastened to the aircraft; and a second element, which is free to move with respect to the first element, following a change in position of first element with respect to the fixed direction; the second element in turn comprising: a mass, which is designed to return the second element to the same stable position with respect to the fixed direction when the first element changes its position with respect to the fixed direction; and a visual indication, which is representative of the position of the fixed direction, as the position of the first element changes.

Abstract: A high-energy-content fuel composition, for controlled-ignition internal combustion engines, contains quadricyclane (tetracyclo-[2.2.1.0-(2,6).0-3,5]-heptane), for which a new synthesis method is proposed.The use of the quadricyclane-containing fuel composition makes it possible a larger amount of energy to be available per each fuel volume unit, and favorably modifies the combustion kinetics in controlled-ignition internal combustion engines.

Abstract: A fuel composition with a high energy content, for direct-ignition internal combustion engines contains a gasoline from petroleum and an amount of up to 90% by volume, as referred to the same fuel composition, of hydrocarbon "cubane" or of its alkyl-derivatives, to be defined by means of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R' and R" represent, independently from each other, a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
