  • Publication number: 20260235032
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a rotor comprising a set of rotor disks. Each rotor disk comprises a respective annular row of rotor blades. The rotor further comprises a forward shaft portion and an aft shaft portion. A first set of rotor disks is formed integrally with a section of one of said forward shaft portion and aft shaft portion. Said section of the shaft portion and the first set of rotor disks form a monolithic component. Moreover, the forward shaft portion and the aft shaft portion are connected to one another by a tie rod arrangement.

  • Publication number: 20260126127
Abstract: A hydraulic or pneumatic actuator for a valve, in particular a trip valve which may be used to cut-off the fluid supplied to an expander when a fault occurs, e.g. when pressure drops under a predetermined pressure value. The innovative actuator has a movable plate having a first side associated to a spindle of the valve through a rod and a second side associated to a spring which is configured to move the movable plate. The actuator is provided with a testing system configured to measure the elastic force of the spring without closing partially or totally the valve, in order to check the correct condition of the spring.

  • Publication number: 20080044286
Abstract: A rotor for traction engines, in particular of a first phase of a vapor turbine, comprising a series of blades (12) arranged circumferentially on the rotor by the interposition of a base portion (18) formed in a single piece with the blades (12), on the opposite portion of the blades (12) with respect to the base portion (18), one or more covering belts (24) also being envisaged which group the blades (12) of the rotor in packs. The blades (12) and the covering belts (24) are coupled by the riveting of pins (26) integrated with the blades (12), and the coupling between the base portion or foot (18) of the blades (12) and the main body or disk (22) of the rotor is effected by fork insertion in the radial direction of the rotor.
