  • Patent number: 10717106
Abstract: A composition for masking scratches on container surfaces is provided including carboxylic acid ester, surfactant, and monounsaturated fatty acid. The composition is suitable for masking scratches on reusable containers such as glass or PET bottles. The composition is suitable for applying to cold wet surfaces where condensation has resulted. A method for making and applying such scratch-masking composition is also provided.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: July 21, 2020
    Assignee: Ecolab USA Inc.
    Inventor: Fabiola Morales Arriaga
  • Patent number: 10696915
Abstract: A dry lubricant for conveyor belts and other surfaces set for lubricating through direct application via a nozzle is disclosed. Lubricants including a homogeneous mixture of fatty acids, a hydrocarbon such as a mineral oil, a sorbitan ester, and a polyglycol, which are substantially-free of water are disclosed. Methods of using the lubricants in dry and semi-dry modes are further disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20080300156
Abstract: A lubricant for conveyor chains of bottled products, set for lubricating through direct application without dilution and in a discontinual way, in prolonged intervals, leaving a layer or film on the surface of the conveyor chain. The lubricant is composed of an homogeneous mixture of one or more fluids of silicon such as emulsified polydimethylsiloxane; one or more fatty acids such as the oleic acid; one or more amines such as the tensoactive product derived from an ethoxylated amine; one or more hydrocarbons such as the white mineral oils; one or more emulsifiers such as the sorbitan monooleate; and one or more polyglycols such as the polyalkylene-glycol, and alternatively a microbicide.

  • Publication number: 20070219099
Abstract: A lubricant for conveyor chains which are used to convey packaged products. For lubrication purposes, the lubricant is applied directly, without being diluted in water, in a non-continuous manner for prolonged periods of time, such as to leave a layer or film on the surface of the conveyor chain. The inventive lubricant consists of a homogenous mixture comprising: one or more silicon fluids, such as emulsified polydimethylsiloxane; one or more fatty acids, such as oleic acid; one or more amines, such as the surface-active product derived from an ethoxylate amine; and water as the aqueous phase, preferably soft water, and, alternatively, a microbicide, preferably a formaldehyde.
