  • Publication number: 20050075528
Abstract: A process for purification by adsorption of a hydrocarbon feedstock that uses a novel adsorption agent is described. This adsorption agent is a spent solid adsorbent that has been used in a first application of catalytic treatment of hydrocarbon feedstocks, or of adsorption, and whose adsorption or catalytic performance levels are degraded such that its use for the first application has become impossible. The use of this spent solid adsorbent for the purification of hydrocarbon feedstocks by adsorption does not require specific treatment in advance, in particular not heat treatment.

  • Publication number: 20050056568
Abstract: The invention concerns the use of supported catalysts comprising at least one metal or metallic compound of a metal from group VI and/or group VIII deposited on a support essentially constituted by ? silicon carbide in a process for selective hydrodesulphurization of an olefinic hydrocarbon feed that is substantially free of polynuclear aromatics and metals. The invention can be used to carry out deep desulphurization of catalytically cracked gasoline cuts with very limited saturation of olefins and thus a minimum loss of octane number.

  • Publication number: 20040055936
Abstract: A hydrotreating catalyst that contains at least one element of group VIB and/or group VIII of the periodic table and optionally phosphorus and/or silicon, with an organic compound as an additive that contains at least one nitrogen atom, is used for the transformation of hydrocarbon-containing fractions, in particular the hydrodesulfurization, the hydrodenitrification, the hydrodemetallization, the hydrogenation of various petroleum fractions, such as residues, vacuum distillates, gas oils and gasolines, and the hydroconversion of vacuum distillates.

  • Patent number: 6372125
Abstract: The invention concerns a catalyst containing at least one amorphous oxide matrix, at least one carbide and phosphorous deposited on said catalyst or contained in the matrix, in which the carbide contain at least one group VIB element and, optionally, at least one element from group VIII of the periodic table. The invention also concerns the use of the catalyst for hydrodesulphurisation and hydrogenation of aromatic compounds in gas oils with a low sulphur content.

  • Patent number: 6136180
Abstract: The invention provides a hydrocracking catalyst comprising at least one NU-88 zeolite, at least one group VB metal, preferably niobium, at least one amorphous or low crystallinity matrix, optionally at least one metal selected from the group formed by group VIB and VIII metals, optionally at least one element selected from the group formed by phosphorous, boron and silicon, and optionally at least one group VIIA element. The invention also relates to the use of the catalyst for hydrocracking hydrocarbon-containing feeds.

  • Patent number: 6123831
Abstract: The invention concerns a hydrocracking catalyst comprising at least one amorphous or poorly crystallised matrix of oxide type, at least one element from group VB, preferably niobium, at least one zeolite selected from the group formed by zeolites NU-85, NU-86 and NU-87, and at least one element selected among boron and silicon, optionally P, optionally at least one element selected from the elements from group VIB and group VIII, and/or optionally at least one element from group VIIA. The invention also concerns the use of that catalyst in the hydrocracking of hydrocarbon charges.
