  • Patent number: 9146622
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a system, method, and program product for dynamically updating an input language of a smart physical keyboard. A local computer receives an indication that a remote session has been started, where starting the remote session includes the local computer accessing a remote computer. The local computer determines a keyboard input language for the remote session. The local computer then updates one or more keys of a smart physical keyboard to display the keyboard input language for the remote session.

  • Patent number: 7904948
Abstract: A method and systems for protecting the identification of a subscriber when a service provider transmits a subscriber request to a content provider in a distributed network environment, such as Internet. After the user sends a request to a service provider to which he has subscribed, the service provider encrypts the user identifier before transmitting this request with the encrypted user identifier to the content provider. Upon reception, the content provider uses an authentication Web Service supplied by the service provider for certifying the user identifier. If the user identifier is certified, the content provider transmits the requested content to the service provider, which formats it before sending it to the user. The content provider may charge the user through the service provider.

  • Patent number: 7475146
Abstract: Data transmission system including a proxy connected to the Internet network and at least a content server to which a user can gain access by the intermediary of the proxy, the proxy being associated with authentication means adapted to perform form-based authentication of the user when receiving a user request for Internet resources therefrom and wherein the proxy transmits the user request to the content server which sends back a response to the proxy. The authentication means comprise a Single Sign-On (SSO) server adapted to obtain a login form from the content server when receiving the user request from the proxy, to fill the login form by using the credentials associated with the user and to send back the filled login form thereby, playing the role of the user regarding the content server, so that the content server can provide the requested information after authentication of the user.

  • Patent number: 7469250
Abstract: Personalized notifications are delivered to end users. A service provider receives, a content description from a content provider. The content description defines keywords, values attached to each keyword and a localization of values attached to each keyword in a piece of content. Each time a subscription request for a notification service related to the received content description is received from an end user, keywords values and the delivery channels selected by the user are recorded. A notification rule associated with the end user based on the selected keyword values and the localization of the selected keyword values in the content is generated. Each time a piece of content related to the content description is received from the content provider, the received piece of content is adapted to comply with the generated rules. For each rule previously generated, the values contained in the adapted piece of content are checked against the values as defined in the rule for each localization.

  • Publication number: 20040073651
Abstract: A method for providing robustness to the accounting function of user sessions established by at least one NAS in an IP network, the accounting function being performed on a RADIUS server storing an ID, IP address and secret code for each NAS and information identifying each established session. The method includes identifying for the RADIUS server, the agent as a RADIUS client of the RADIUS server, polling from the agent all the NAS identified in said RADIUS server and, if no answer is received from at least one NAS, sending from the agent a RADIUS stop accounting request to the RADIUS server for all the sessions established by each non-responding NAS.

  • Publication number: 20040073629
Abstract: Method of accessing Internet resources provided by at least a content server in a data transmission system including a proxy connected to an Internet network, the proxy being provided with authentication means for authenticating a user when receiving a request for Internet resources therefrom, and wherein the proxy transmits the user request to the content server which sends back a response to the proxy together with at least one cookie containing information about the user's session. The proxy receiving the response with the cookie stores the cookie in a user context database and transmits this response to the user after the cookie(s) has (have) been removed from the response, so that the user can send all requests for accessing the Internet resources contained in the content server to the proxy.
