  • Publication number: 20250086071
Abstract: A hypervisor device mitigates failure of a virtual machine (VM) by masking an interrupt request (IRQ) of another VM of lower priority. A hypervisor device for failure mitigation of a VM is configured to: operate a first VM; operate a second VM, where the first VM has a higher priority level than the second VM; determine an interference parameter indicating a magnitude of interference of the second VM on the first VM; and mask at least one IRQ relating to the second VM based on the interference parameter to mitigate a failure of the first VM.

  • Patent number: 9422905
Abstract: A multi-shaft aeronautical turboprop engine in which a compressor draws in air coming from an air intake and drives, through an outer first shaft, a first stage of a turbine, which is provided with a second stage that drives a propeller by means of a second shaft mounted coaxially inside the first shaft. A starting system is provided that comprises: an asynchronous reversible electric machine connected by means of a transmission to the first shaft; a synchronous electric machine connected by means of a transmission to the second shaft; a reconfigurable electrical network that, in a phase of dynamic starting of the turboprop engine following its cutting out during flight, enables the transfer of energy produced by the synchronous electric machine, set in rotation by the propeller driven by dynamic effects, to the asynchronous electric machine, which is set in rotation at a lower speed than the asynchronous machine.

  • Patent number: 8505697
Abstract: A braking system for an aircraft provided with undercarriage, wherein an axial-flux reversible electrical machine is associated to at least one wheel of the undercarriage and is set in rotation by the rotation of the wheel. Current-dissipator is provided, which can be connected to the windings of the axial-flux reversible electrical machine during rotation of the wheel in the landing phase for dissipating in the current-dissipator the induced currents generated by the machine, which behaves as current generator, and producing a braking effect that slows down the movement of the wheel. An epicyclic reducer is provided between the wheel of the undercarriage and the rotor of the reversible electrical machine. The epicyclic reducer provides a transmission ratio T in such a way that the rotor will turn at a velocity T? with respect to the velocity of rotation ? of the wheel.
