Abstract: A modified classic grille guard is configured with modularity, which may include, for example, seven distinct pieces instead of the conventional three. The middle portion of the grille guard is completely modular in that one or more crossbars are now detached from the opposing left and right side upright members. In the present scenario, the right and left brush guards are still one piece, but in other implementations, the brush guards could likewise be modular—i.e., their brush bars may be detached from their upright bars. The crossbars each attach to upright bars on each end of the crossbar, and in turn, the brush guards attach to the sides of the upright bar opposite the crossbars. Separation and modularity of these components reduce the structure's occupied space for packaging, storage, and transportation, thereby reducing backend costs.

Abstract: A modular rugged grille guard is configured to be separated into individual components to reduce the amount of space when packaging the product, which also helps with storage and transportation costs. While the grille guard's main body may be largely assembled, it is separated from opposing left and right upright bars. To assemble, the user attaches the left and right upright bars on opposing sides of the main body, then places the left and right brush guards adjacent to the positioned left and right upright bars, respectively. Once the main body, upright bars, and brush guards are assembled, and their various holes are aligned, the user engages nuts, bolts, screws, washers, etc., to fully attach each section together. In typical implementations, the user may assemble one side at a time.

The modular roll bar further includes a second bracket installed on a passenger's side bed rail and including a second lower surface associated with the bed rail, a third locator and a fourth locator. A main bar is removably connected to the first locator and the third locator and extends from the first bracket and the second bracket to an upper surface a cab of the pickup truck. The modular roll bar further includes a first support bar removably connected to the second locator and the main bar and a second support bar removably connected to the fourth locator and the main bar.
