The contacting may include at least one of soaking the absorbing matrix material in the first solution and spraying the absorbing matrix material with the first solution. The method may further include contacting the impregnated absorbing matrix material with a second solution that is the same as or different form the first solution. The second solution may include a second active material and a second solvent. The method may further include one or more drying steps to remove the first solvent and/or the second solvent.
