Abstract: A straightedge with a holder for a writing implement includes a planar measuring surface, such as a ruler, set square or the like, with a slide track. The slide track extends along an edge of the planar measuring surface. A first end of a writing implement holder is slidably mounted within the slide track, and a second end of the writing implement holder is adapted for releasably holding a writing implement, such as a pen, pencil or the like. The writing implement holder is movable along the slide track such that the writing implement moves along the edge of the planar measuring surface. A support made from cork, rubber or the like may be located on a rear surface of the planar measuring surface.

Abstract: The combination marker and eraser includes both a marker, such as those used with erasable whiteboards and markerboards, for example, and an eraser for the marker combined in a single writing implement. The combination marker and eraser includes the marker and a hollow housing. The body of the marker is received within the hollow housing such that the writing tip of the marker is positioned exterior to the hollow housing. A strip of eraser material is attached to an exterior surface of the hollow housing. The combination marker and eraser further includes an outer shell rotatably mounted about the hollow housing. The outer shell has a slot formed therethrough such that rotation of the outer shell with respect to the hollow housing selectively either covers the strip of eraser material or exposes the strip of eraser material through the slot.

Abstract: A writing system includes a silicone finger pen covering including a first end portion and a second end portion. The first end portion includes a magnet and the second end portion includes an opening configured to receive an index finger of an end user. An interchangeable pen tip includes a first section and a second section. The first section is configured to contact a writing surface and the second section includes a metal surface configured to magnetically secure to the magnet. A pen tips casing includes a lid portion and a bottom portion. The bottom portion includes a plurality of slots configured to receive a plurality of interchangeable pen tips. The silicone finger pen covering can be an electronic silicone finger pen covering and a non-electronic silicone finger pen covering. The electronic silicone finger pen covering further includes a battery, a processor, and a button.
