  • Publication number: 20240135496
Abstract: A mobile device and mobile application, in which the mobile device includes a camera having an image capture circuit operating in a mode to capture a RAW image burst, and processing circuitry, including a neural network engine, to generate a single enhanced image from the RAW image burst. The neural network engine executing program instructions including an edge boosting feature alignment stage to remove inter-frame spatial and color misalignment from the RAW image burst to obtain aligned burst frames, a pseudo-burst feature fusion stage to create a set of pseudo-burst features that combine complementary information from the aligned burst frames, and an adaptive group upsampling stage to progressively increase spatial resolution while merging the set of pseudo-burst features and output the single enhanced image. The mobile application and mobile device perform super-resolution, low-light image enhancement, and burst denoising using a RAW image burst.

  • Patent number: 11814470
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a thermoset omniphobic composition, which includes a thermoset polymer with first, second, and third backbone segments, urethane groups linking the first and third backbone segments, and urea groups linking the first and second backbone segments. The first, second, and third backbone segments generally correspond to urethane or urea reaction products of polyisocyanate(s), amine-functional hydrophobic polymer(s), and polyol(s), respectively. The thermoset omniphobic composition has favorable omniphobic properties, for example as characterized by water and/or oil contact and/or sliding angles. The thermoset omniphobic composition can be used as a coating on any of a variety of substrates to provide omniphobic properties to a surface of the substrate. Such omniphobic coatings can be scratch resistant, ink/paint resistant, dirt-repellent, and optically clear.

  • Publication number: 20230316603
Abstract: A system and computer readable storage medium for automated handwriting generation, including a text input device for inputting a text query having at least one textual word string, an image input device for inputting a handwriting sample with characters in a writing style of a user, and a computer implemented deep learning transformer model including an encoder network and a decoder network in which each are a hybrid of convolution and multi-head self-attention networks. The encoder produces a sequence of style feature embeddings from the input handwriting sample. The decoder takes the sequence of style feature embeddings in order to convert the at least one textual word string into a generated handwritten image having substantially same writing style as the handwriting sample. An output device to output the generated handwriting image.

  • Patent number: 11436809
Abstract: A method for providing a treasure hunt in augmented reality includes presenting an indication of a starting point of a path through an environment that, when followed, allows a virtual gift card to be obtained. Then, as a mobile computer system travels through the environment from a location proximate the starting point, navigation indications to allow the path to be followed are presented. Presenting the navigation indications may include capturing images of portions of the environment, detecting locations corresponding to the path, modifying a captured image based on a detected location by compositing it with a navigation indication corresponding to a direction of the path; and displaying the modified captured image. That the mobile computer system has been moved to a location proximate an ending point of the path can be detected and may trigger an update to an account to associate the virtual gift card therewith.

  • Publication number: 20220145088
Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods for forming an omniphobic thermoset composition, such as an omniphobic polyurethane or epoxy composition. First and second thermosetting components are applied to a substrate and partially cured. A functionalized hydrophobic/oleophobic/omniphobic polymer which is reactive with at least the first thermosetting component is then applied to the coated substrate, which is then further cured to form a thermoset omniphobic coating on the substrate. The thermoset omniphobic composition has favorable omniphobic properties, for example as characterized by water and/or oil contact and/or sliding angles. The thermoset omniphobic composition can be used as a coating on any of a variety of substrates to provide omniphobic properties to a surface of the substrate. • Publication number: 20210110363
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods for automatically identifying and configuring transfer targets in a transaction system are disclosed. Such a method may include: identifying a location associated with a first account. The first account may be associated with an account holder. A set of known transfer targets associated with the identified location is identified. Based on transaction data for one or more accounts associated with the account holder, a processor identifies transactions involving the transfer targets. One or more transactions involving a particular one of the transfer targets may be determined to correspond to one or more transfers to the particular one of the transfer targets. A prompt for presentation by a client device to add the particular one of the transfer targets to a transfer interface may then be generated. Related systems and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20200143344
Abstract: An efficient interactive graphical user interface for scheduling transfers is disclosed. A method of providing such a graphical user interface includes displaying a calendar that includes days selectable and not selectable as either a transfer date for sending a transfer to a recipient or a transfer received date on which the transfer is intended to be received. Input may be received selecting either the transfer date or the transfer received date. The other of the transfer date and the transfer received date is then determined and an indication is displayed indicating the first date and the determined date. Further input may then be received selecting a second date different from the first date. The other date is then redetermined based on the second date. The display of the calendar is updated to replace the first visual indication with a second visual indication indicating the second date and the redetermined date.
