  • Publication number: 20230186450
Abstract: A system for quantitively determining quality for pavement markings disposed along pavement on a roadway includes one or more controllers in wireless communication with a plurality of vehicles. The one or more controllers receive image data represents the pavement markings disposed along the pavement collected by the plurality of vehicles. The one or more controllers execute instructions to determine at least one of a color distance measurement between a mean color space value of the pavement markings and an ideal marking color space value and a marking intensity contrast ratio between the pavement markings and the pavement.

  • Patent number: 8569373
Abstract: Germicidal compositions containing at least one carboxylic acid combined with at least one nonionic or anionic surfactant, and methods of using the compositions for treatment or prevention of infectious hoof diseases are disclosed. The germicidal compositions remain active in the presence of manure, which eliminates the need to pre-clean the hooves before use. The compositions have particular utility for treating or preventing papillomatous digital dermatitis, interdigital phlegmon, interdigital dermatitis, laminitis, white line disease, heel erosion and other hoof diseases.

  • Publication number: 20080015134
Abstract: Non-chlorinated concentrated acid detergent compositions and methods for using the same are provided. More particularly, the acid detergents comprise a quantity of a fatty alkyl-1,3-diaminopropane or salt thereof and optionally alkylsulfonic acid. The detergents form the basis for an all-in-one cleaning, sanitizing, and descaling composition for use on soiled surfaces, particularly surfaces contaminated with milk soils and other food soils.

  • Publication number: 20070027119
Abstract: Use of a liquid composition comprising at least two agents selected from lactic acid, salicylic acid, benzyl alcohol, and/or low molecular weight aliphatic alcohol having less than five carbon atoms for the manufacture of an antimicrobial solution is disclosed. In a preferred embodiment, the antimicrobial solution is formulated as a teat dip for lactating animals, particularly cows. The composition may be used as a prophylactic treatment or for wound healing, and is particularly useful against mastitis. The antimicrobial compositions may be used in personal care, hard surface care including hard surface disinfection in households, food processing, hospitals, restaurants, hotels, showers, or topically as hand soaps, surgical scrubs, and hoof disease mitigators.

  • Publication number: 20060089285
Abstract: Liquid, shelf-stable alkaline cleaning compositions with chlorine bleach comprising a chlorine bleach capable of forming a hypochlorite in water, a bleach stabilizer selected from the group consisting of compounds having at least one NH— or NH2— moiety capable of reacting with the hypochlorite to form NCl—, NHCl— or NCl2— compounds, and from about 5-50% by weight of a metal hydroxide. Compositions according to the present invention are highly alkaline preferably presenting a pH of at least about 11.5. The compositions provide sustained hypochlorite bleach functionality and long term bleach stability even in the presence of surfactants. The bleach compositions are useful in cleaning and sanitizing household, institutional, and industrial hard surfaces including clean-in-place systems and food processing equipment.

  • Patent number: 4379950
Abstract: A computer-controlled distributed communication system in which there is a system controller and a plurality of group controllers all interchanging information over a system bus. Each group controller has its individual group bus for the exchange of information between stations of the group and the group controller. Each group controller shares a portion of its random access memory (RAM) with the system controller. When information is directed at approximately the same time to the RAM from a group central processing unit (CPU) bus and from the system CPU bus, the first to access the RAM is enabled to feed its information. Neither bus has any preference. The fed information is stored temporarily in a temporary storage of mailbox RAM in the group. Within the mailbox RAM, separate sections are provided for the storage of information for each direction of information transfer.

  • Patent number: 4339633
Abstract: A telecommunications system for both PABX and key systems use.The system is assembled in modules capable of physical and electrical interconnection and expansion. The system has a control apparatus housed in one modular sectional unit. The stations of the system are grouped with the control for each group being housed within a sectional unit. The units are adapted for physical mounting to one another and each unit is electrically connected into the system by two flat conductor cables jumpered to the adjacent unit. This modularity is made possible by each unit having internal bus structure for the bidirectional flow of information in the module, the intermodular connection acting as the bus between groups and the central control. Further, each group has a data memory for storing information directed into or out of modular unit on a random basis for reading out that information when the destination module is ready to receive that information.

  • Patent number: 4221935
Abstract: A control apparatus for providing added service telephone features for stations of a multiple party line. Features provided are automatic number identification, party line privacy, fully selective ringing, remote station verification and disconnect and revertive calling. Apparatus to provide these features includes as the control logic, a conventional microprocessor acting on external logic and buffer memory interfacing with the line conductors. The external logic and buffer memory sense the input condition changes and provide signals indicative of these changes to the processor. The external logic and memory maintain a condition and monitor the line for condition change.
