    Abstract: A pipeline descaling tool includes a milling tool, a roller assembly and a motor. The milling tool can rotate about a longitudinal axis of the assembly and is sized to fit within an inner volume defined by a pipeline. The milling tool can mill, by rotating, solid obstructions protruding from an inner surface of the pipeline into the inner volume. The roller assembly includes multiple rollers. The roller assembly is axially coupled to the milling tool. The roller assembly can transport the pipeline tool assembly including the milling tool within the inner volume. The motor is connected to the roller assembly and to the milling tool. The motor can rotate the milling tool and power the roller assembly.

    Abstract: One or more geometric dimensions of a portion of a washout section of a wellbore are determined. A retrievable tubular sleeve is run downhole through the casing string, such that a key profile disposed on an outer surface of the retrievable tubular sleeve connects with a landing nipple disposed on an inner surface of the casing string. The retrievable tubular sleeve is dimensioned such that, when the key profile is connected with the landing nipple, a portion of the retrievable tubular sleeve extends downhole from the downhole end of the casing string and within the portion of the washout section for which the one or more geometric dimensions have been determined, and an intervention or measurement tool can be run through the retrievable tubular sleeve through across the washout section.

    Abstract: A choke valve is coupled to a Christmas tree on a wellhead. A smart module is coupled to the choke valve. A hydraulic control is coupled to the smart module and the choke valve. The hydraulic control unit hydraulically actuates the choke valve. A first sensor is attached upstream of the choke valve and a second sensor is attached downstream of the choke valve. The first sensor measures an upstream pressure and the second sensor measures a downstream pressure. A controller is coupled to the smart module and the hydraulic control unit. The smart module receives the upstream pressure, the downstream pressure, and well data to generate commands to adjust a choke size of the choke valve corresponding with a required production rate of a well. The controller manages a transmission of hydraulic pressure from the hydraulic control unit to actuate the choke valve based on the generated commands.
