Abstract: A vehicular physical disability assistance device includes a housing that fixes to an interior of a vehicle. A supporting member positioned with the housing can be placed into a retracted position and an extended position in relation to the housing. An actuating mechanism positioned with the housing moves the supporting member into the retracted position and the extended position. Embodiments of a vehicular physical disability assistance device can include a rotatable member within an interior of a vehicle and a supporting member positioned with the rotatable member. The rotatable member can be placed from an upward position into a downward position. An actuating mechanism drives the rotatable member to place the rotatable member in the upward position or in the downward position. Additional embodiments include a telescoping member in conjunction with the supporting member that can be positioned in a retracted position and an extended position.

Abstract: The vehicle with wheelchair positioning mechanism includes an automotive vehicle that is modified to assist a disabled person to enter, operate and exit the vehicle. The modification includes a wheelchair lift adjacent the rear of the vehicle. An internal rail system extends from the rear of the vehicle to the front of the vehicle adjacent the vehicle's driving controls. A remotely controlled platform is rotatably mounted on a carriage for movement on the rail system. The platform is adapted to support a wheelchair thereon. The platform can be rotated 360° so that the wheelchair moves forward when entering and exiting the vehicle.

Abstract: The multi-position bed for the infirm or physically disabled patients includes a multi-positional support surface. The support surface includes separate pivotally attached segments adapted to support various parts of a patient's body. Segmented lower portions support the patient's feet and lower legs. An upper segment supports the patient's back, neck and head. A central segment is adapted to support patient's buttocks. All portions can be pivoted through a range of positions. The central segment is provided with movable panels, which can be arranged to form an opening in the bed. A toilet is fixed beneath the bed in alignment with the formed opening. The entire support surface can be vertically adjusted.
