Abstract: A method and a system for assurance and monitoring of availability of continuous active data security of infrastructure, endpoints, and other organization aspects. The method includes obtaining cybersecurity data from a data repository and configuration data from a configuration management database and generating a list of a plurality of commissioned and decommissioned network elements. Further, it is determined whether each network element from a plurality of network elements is an active network element and the configuration management database is updated with information on the plurality of the commissioned network elements, information on the plurality of the decommissioned network elements, and information on a plurality of active network elements.
