Abstract: The present invention discloses a multifunctional vanity that can be used for myriad purposes. It is self-contained within a housing, and is therefore portable. The exterior of the vanity can be made to look like a furniture piece appropriate for the environment in which it is located. The vanity can be used as a typical vanity, that is a place to dress, perform grooming functions and the like, or as a standing desk or other counter space. The vanity includes multiple functionalities that have heretofore never been assimilated into a single unit. By way of example, the vanity allows users to dress, groom, work on a computer or tablet, listen to music or other audio, iron clothes, store items, work at a desk, eat or drink, and so forth. The vanity can be accommodated for various users including physically challenged persons, the elderly, children, and outdoor users by making only slight modifications to the component parts used therein.
