Abstract: The invention provides an alternative to the brown bag lunch in the form of an insulated carrying plate having bottom and top members sealed together by releasible fasteners and defining sealed, separated compartments inside, there being a carrying handle incorporating a hinged lid which opens to expose a cavity occupying substantially the entire interior of said handle and useful as a storage compartment for utensils and condiments.
