  • Publication number: 20240092170
Abstract: A visible component for a motor vehicle includes a fiber-reinforced plastics component having a multi-layer fiber reinforcement which is integrated in an at least largely transparent plastics matrix. The fiber reinforcement is formed by a visible layer in the form of a metallized glass fiber layer and at least one largely transparent structural layer. A touch display is also provided on a rear face of the fiber-reinforced plastics component facing the visible layer.

  • Patent number: 11919575
Abstract: A fiber composite body, in particular a structure stiffening element, has a number of struts which are formed by reinforcing fibers which are embedded in a polymer matrix and which in a region of the respective strut run substantially parallel to one another. The struts are arranged in a truss-like profiled structure which is produced by winding or intertwining the reinforcing fibers.

  • Publication number: 20230331317
Abstract: An air-guiding element on or in a vehicle is formed of at least one fiber-reinforced composite material having a multi-layered sandwich structure. At least one of the layers of the sandwich structure is a resilient layer that consists of or comprises a material comprising an elastomer, and the layers of the sandwich structure are interconnected by a plastic matrix material.

  • Publication number: 20230211835
Abstract: A vehicle has a spoiler fastened to an outer skin component of the vehicle. For this purpose, clip elements are provided on the outer skin component and are in engagement with corresponding mating clip elements of the spoiler. The clip elements have an end stop in a z-direction, which is oriented transversely to the surface of the outer skin component. Between the spoiler and the outer skin component there is an intermediate element, which is elastically compressed in the z-direction and presses the spoiler against the end stop. A method is provided for mounting the spoiler on the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11453180
Abstract: A fiber composite member includes an elongate main member and a fastening portion disposed at an end of the elongate main member, the fastening portion has a fastening opening for fastening the fiber composite member to a neighboring part. A reinforcement fiber bundle, which forms a fiber reinforcement of both the elongate main member and the fastening portion, has a first reinforcement fiber and a second reinforcement fiber which run substantially mutually parallel in a region of the elongate main member. A respective part of the first reinforcement fiber and the second reinforcement fiber in a transition region between the elongate main member and the fastening portion depart from a bundle profile in the region of the elongate main member and the respective parts of the first and second reinforcement fibers intersect with one another in the transition region.
