    Abstract: An autonomous vehicle (AV) is automatically navigated within a a driving lane. Lane line data is received from one or more sensors, such as one or more cameras. A first parametric curve can be matched to a location of a first lane line detected from the lane line data. A second parametric curve can be matched to a location of a second lane line detected from the lane line data. A center parametric curve can be then generated in the center of the first parametric curve and the second parametric curve. The center parametric curve is then sampled to generate a discrete vector of trajectory points along the center parametric curve. The AV is then navigated along the road based on the trajectory points.

    Abstract: An autonomous vehicle automatically implements an intention aware lane change with a safety guaranteed lane biased strategy. To make a lane change, the autonomous vehicle first navigates within the current lane to near the edge of the current lane, to a position offset by a bias. By navigating to the edge of the lane, the autonomous vehicle provides a physical and virtual notification, in addition to a turn signal, that it is the intention of the vehicle to change into the lane adjacent to the edge of the lane in which the vehicle has navigated to. After performing a safety check and waiting for a minimum period of time during which vehicles in the adjacent lane can be assumed to have been warned or been put on notice of the lane change, the autonomous vehicle navigates into the adjacent lane.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a system for real-time transmission of large-capacity of a deep-sea subsurface mooring based on a Beidou satellite. Data transmission is implemented by a mechanism of single module multi-card switching operation and dynamic subcontracting transmission. A receiving module is connected to a fixed card and is responsible for receiving state information on whether the transmission is successful. A subsurface mooring end antenna and a land-based antenna adopt a network analyzer to perform secondary matching on parameters such as frequency offset and impedance of the assembled antenna, and effectively intercept original data. In addition, arithmetic coding and dictionary coding are adopted for data compression. While an acquisition board terminal processes original valid data, the valid data is compressed to a maximum of one third of the original data, which can be extended into a parallel mode of multiple single-mode multi-card modules.

    Abstract: A display pixel is provided that is operable to support hybrid compensation scheme having both in-pixel threshold voltage canceling and external threshold voltage compensation. The display may include multiple p-type silicon transistors with at least one n-type semiconducting-oxide transistor and one storage capacitor. An on-bias stress phase may be performed prior to a threshold voltage sampling and data programming phase to mitigate hysteresis and improve first frame response. In low refresh rate displays, a first additional on-bias stress operation can be performed separate from the threshold voltage sampling and data programming phase during a refresh frame and a second additional on-bias stress operation can be performed during a vertical blanking frame. The display pixel may be configured to receive an initialization voltage and an anode reset voltage, either of which can be dynamically tuned to match the stress of the first and second additional on-bias stress operations to minimize flicker.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided for spatial audio streaming using adaptive bitrate encoding and decoding in bandwidth limited virtual reality applications. A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes calculating weight factors for audio channels associated with each of a plurality of microphones. The weight factors are based on the position and head angle, relative to the microphones, of a user wearing a head mounted display (HMD). The method also includes encoding and decoding the audio channels, for transmission to the HMD, at a selected bitrate, the bitrate based on the weight factor for the audio channel. The method further includes applying an adaptive gain compensation to each of the received and decoded audio channels, the gain compensation also based on the weight factor. The method further includes mixing the resulting gain compensated channels to generate a stereo audio signal to be played through speakers of the HMD.
