    Abstract: A dendrimer formulation, such as a PAMAM dendrimer or a multiarm PEG polymeric formulation has been developed for systemic administration to the brain or central nervous system. In the preferred embodiment, the dendrimers are in the form of dendrimer nanoparticles comprising poly(amidoamine)(PAMAM) hydroxyl-terminated dendrimers covalently linked to at least one therapeutic, prophylactic or diagnostic agent for treatment of one or more symptoms of neurodegenerative, neurodevelopmental or neurological disorders such as Rett syndrome of autism spectrum disorders. D6 generation dendrimers provide significantly enhanced uptake into areas of brain injury, providing a means for diagnosis as well as drug delivery.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for efficient and low-carbon treatment of a landfill leachate by using a cement kiln are disclosed. The method comprises the following steps: settling a landfill leachate in a settlement tank, and discharging sludge in the landfill leachate; filtering the landfill leachate subjected to settlement treatment, and controlling the mass concentration of suspended particulate matters in the landfill leachate; and spraying the filtered landfill leachate into a high-temperature region of a decomposition furnace of a cement kiln, the high-temperature region being a region which is at a lower portion of a suspension region of the decomposition furnace of the cement kiln and is at a temperature of 900-1050° C. As a result, coal consumption in the cement kiln can be significantly reduced, carbon dioxide emissions are reduced, processes required for landfill leachate treatment can be simplified, and costs are saved.

    Abstract: Provided are a recombinant oncolytic virus and a use thereof. The recombinant oncolytic viruses provided have better infective ability and killing ability in vitro to abnormally proliferative (tumor) LLC cell and are all not easy to eliminate in the LLC cell, greatly reducing the infective ability of the recombinant oncolytic viruses to normal cells.
