  • Publication number: 20180073081
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method to predict prognostic results for diseases including acute myeloid leukemia (AML) by analyzing novel markers which comprises microRNA/mRNA (miRNA/mRNA) pairings. In particular, the miRNA/mRNA pairings are a kind of NPM1 mutation-modulated miRNA/mRNA regulation pairs.

  • Publication number: 20160070852
Abstract: The present invention relates to a scoring method for predicting the survival of a de novo AML patient based on the expression level of microRNAs mir-9, mir-155 and mir-203 in the patient. Patients with higher scores are associated with shorter overall survival. This scoring method is simple, powerful, and widely applicable for risk stratification of AML patients.

  • Publication number: 20120252088
Abstract: A cell isolation device with an inner freely floating magnetic probe to capture and collect biological cells, such as circulating tumor cells (CTCs), during immunomagnetic incubation provides a highly efficient, low cost method to collect target cells at a single cell level. A special membrane filter may be placed above a wash well to enable separation of collected cells from free magnetic beads to yield high purity cells enabling accurate cell count. The novel approach provides a faster turn-around to separate target cells from blood, marrow or other samples with efficient removal of free magnetic beads. Cancel cell spiking experiments show a recovery rate of greater than 85%.

  • Patent number: 7489323
Abstract: A display apparatus adapted for a display wall, an image adjustment method therefor and a display wall therewith are provided. The image between display apparatuses of the display wall is not exactly displayed, especially for adjacent areas between every two neighbored display apparatuses, and the displayed image is required to be adjusted for the defects. The image adjustment method includes receiving a video signal and then setting an initial image capture area in a scaler of each of display apparatuses in the display wall for selecting and scaling a part of the video image and transmitting the part to a digital display element of the display apparatus for display. Then based on the whole image displayed on the display wall by combining the image displayed on each of the display apparatuses, sequentially adjusts the image displayed by each of the display apparatuses. While adjusting the size of the image, one side of an image capture area is fixed and the length of the image capture area is adjusted.

  • Patent number: 7236143
Abstract: A system, an apparatus and a method for configuring a display ID are provided. The system comprises a setting unit, a plurality of displays and a plurality of switches. Wherein, the displays are electrically coupled to the setting unit, and the switches are configured in between the setting unit and its corresponding display. Each of the switches corresponds to one of the displays, and is turned on or turned off by its corresponding display. When the setting unit issues a setting ID instruction, all of the switches is turned on by its corresponding display. Thereafter, the setting unit issues a plurality of identification configuration instructions. By sequentially turning off each of the switches, the ID of the corresponding display can be configured by each of the ID configuration instructions.
