    Abstract: An extraction device includes a first housing, a second housing slidable received in the first housing for receiving a memory card, an engaging member, a processor, communicating pins, an identifying pin, an elastic member and a popping delay member. The engaging member engages with the second housing or disengages from the second housing. The communicating pins and the identifying pin respectively connect with communicating pin connecting portions and an identifying pin connecting portion in the second housing. The elastic member drives the second housing away from the first housing when the engaging member is disengaged from the second housing. The popping delay member delays the second housing from popping out of the first housing when the identifying pin disconnects from the identifying pin connecting portion. The processor executes a program when the identifying pin and the identifying pin connecting portion are disconnected.

The method includes receiving and sampling the audio signal, recording values of points of the sampled audio signal using the transmission device, segmenting the sampled audio signal into a plurality of frames, extracting and encoding characteristic information from each frame, to obtain a group of generated codes, transmitting each group of generated codes to a receiving device sequentially using the transmission device, and decoding each group of generated codes using the receiving device, to obtain a decoded audio signal.

    Abstract: An electronic reader includes a display unit, and a processing unit. The processing unit includes a file retrieving module, a refreshing mode control module, a block setting module, and a display control module. The file retrieving module retrieves one or more shapes or figures, to be displayed for effect, and the content of a new target page when a content updating signal is received. The refreshing mode control module controls the electronic reader to operate in a refreshing mode. The block setting module determines the blocks to be refreshed and the order in which the blocks are to be refreshed. The display control module controls the display unit to firstly update the content of a block with the one or more shapes or figures, and then update with retrieved new content by refreshing the blocks one after another in a predetermined procedural order. A related method is also provided.

    Abstract: An electronic reader includes an input unit, a storage unit, a display unit, and a processing unit. The input unit generates a content updating signal in response to user's operation. The processing unit includes a file retrieving module, a mode control module, a block setting module, and a display control module. The file retrieving module retrieves content of an electronic file for displaying on the display screen of the display unit, in response to the content updating signal. The mode control module controls the electronic reader to operate in a refreshing mode in which the display screen is divided into a plurality of predetermined blocks. The block setting module determines one or more blocks. The display control module controls the display unit to update the content at the determined blocks with the corresponding retrieved content by refreshing the determined blocks one after another. A related method is also provided.
