  • Patent number: 10683935
Abstract: A sealing device provides sealing so as to prevent a sealed fluid in a machine inner side from leaking to a machine outer side between a housing and a rotating shaft which is inserted to a shaft hole provided in the housing. The sealing device has a seal flange which is installed to an outer periphery of the rotating shaft, and a seal lip which is installed to an inner periphery of the shaft hole of the housing and slidably comes into contact with the seal flange over an entire periphery. The sealing device includes a thread groove which exerts a fluid pumping action when the rotating shaft rotates. The thread groove is provided at a position which does not intersect a contact area where the seal lip slidably comes into contact with the seal flange over the entire periphery, thereby suppressing generation of static leakage.

  • Patent number: 10190689
Abstract: A seal ring capable of stably reducing a rotational torque while preventing the leakage of sealed fluid. The seal ring includes: an abutment joint part (110) provided at one portion in a circumferential direction thereof; a plurality of dynamic pressure generation grooves (120) provided at intervals in the circumferential direction on a side of a sliding surface thereof sliding on a lateral wall surface of an annular groove; and foreign matter discharging grooves (130) that are provided between a region in which the plurality of dynamic pressure generation grooves (120) is arranged and the abutment joint part (110) in the circumferential direction on the side of the sliding surface sliding on the lateral wall surface, and that are capable of catching foreign matter intruding from the abutment joint part (110) and discharging the caught foreign matter to an outside of a sliding part between the seal ring and the lateral wall surface.

  • Publication number: 20180306325
Abstract: A seal ring exhibits a sealing function even when fluid pressure is low. A first elastic body sealing portion 200X is provided between a first front end surface 111Xa of a first fitting projection 111X and a first opposing surface 112Ya so as to oppose the first front end surface 111Xa, whereby the first elastic body sealing portion 200X presses the first front end surface 111Xa and the first opposing surface away from each other in a circumferential direction, and a second elastic body sealing portion 200Y is provided between a second front end surface 111Ya of a second fitting projection 111Y and a second opposing surface 112Xa so as to oppose the second front end surface 111Ya, whereby the second elastic body sealing portion 200Y presses the second front end surface 111Ya and the second opposing surface 112Xa away from each other in the circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 9388705
Abstract: The sealing device includes: an outer peripheral ring 2000 that is in contact with a side wall surface of an annular groove 4100 at a low pressure side (L), and slides with respect to an inner peripheral surface of a shaft hole in a housing 5000 through which a shaft 4000 is inserted. An inner peripheral ring 3000 made of a rubber-like elastic body that is in contact with an inner peripheral surface of the outer peripheral ring 2000 and a groove bottom surface of the annular groove 4100, respectively. The outer peripheral ring 2000 is formed on its outer peripheral surface with a concave portion 2220 which extends from an end of a high pressure side (H) to a position which does not arrive at an end of a low pressure side, so as to introduce fluid thereinto from the high pressure side.
