    Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electronic device and method for wireless communication, and a computer-readable storage medium. The electronic device comprises a processing circuit, which is configured to: set a timer, wherein the timer is used for counting the time from a point when a user equipment accesses a first cell of a non-terrestrial network, and the timing duration of the timer is set on the basis of a predicted service duration of the first cell to the user equipment; and reduce the number of beam measurement result reporting times when the timer does not expire compared to beam measurement result reporting after the timer expires.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to electronic device and method for wireless communication system, and storage medium. An electronic device of a terminal device side for a wireless communication system, comprising: a processing circuit configured to: receive, from a base station, configuration information indicating that one or more of a plurality of synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) corresponding to the electronic device are measured when the electronic device is in an idle or inactive state, wherein the configuration information is sent on the basis that the electronic device is in a stationary state, and the configuration information comprises at least information indicating a first threshold; and in the period during which the electronic device is in the idle or inactive state, measure only the one or more of the plurality of SSBs having received signal strength higher than the first threshold when the electronic device is in a connected state.

In one embodiment, an electronic device for a base station providing a serving cell for a plurality of terminal devices is provided, the electronic device including a processing circuit configured to: instruct at least one of the plurality of terminal devices to perform radio resource management measurements with a first cycle; and configure a measurement cycle relaxation mechanism for the at least one terminal device through a radio resource control signaling. In a case that the measurement cycle relaxation mechanism is enabled, the at least one terminal device performs radio resource management measurements with a measurement cycle greater than the first cycle.
