  • Publication number: 20260109935
Abstract: Method for performing a bioprocess on liquid immune cell cultures comprising a sequence of processing steps, wherein the bioprocess is being performed on an integrated bioprocessing system, wherein the sequence of processing steps comprises at least one unit operation, which is being performed within a unit operation station of the integrated bioprocessing system. Cartridges, that have been preconfigured with a cartridge fluidic structure with respect to the respective unit operation, are being stored in a cartridge storage unit of the unit operation station and that for performing the respective unit operation, one of the cartridges is being transported from a storage transfer location in a cartridge storage unit of the unit operation station to a drive location of a cartridge drive unit of the unit operation station by a local transport mechanism of the unit operation station and is being brought into operative coupling with the cartridge drive unit.

  • Publication number: 20260085266
Abstract: Method for performing a bioprocess to obtain processed cell cultures, wherein the processed cell cultures are destined for autologous or allogenic cell therapy, wherein the bioprocess is performed on an integrated bioprocessing system, wherein the bioprocess comprises a sequence of processing steps, wherein the processing steps each comprise at least one operation, wherein the bioprocess system comprises a base structure and preconfigurable cartridges, wherein the bioprocess system performs operations of the bioprocess via an interaction of the base structure with the cartridges, wherein the cartridges and the base structure comprise matching standardized interfaces for an interaction of the base structure with the respective cartridge, wherein the bioprocess system performs at least two operations of the bioprocess inside at least two differently preconfigured cartridges by an interaction of the base structure with the cartridges via the same base structure interface and/or identical base structure interface

  • Publication number: 20250207080
Abstract: Method for performing bioprocesses on cell cultures. The bioprocesses performed on an integrated bioprocessing system (IBS) transferring a medium in the bioprocess, in particular the cell cultures, through tubes. The IBS includes a tube connection system (tcs) connecting tubes of the IBS by welding. A first tube, first tube holder and first fluidic structure receiving and/or providing the medium are carried by a movable first carrier. The first tube is held by the first tube holder fluidically connected to the first fluidic structure. The first carrier, first tube, first tube holder and the first fluidic structure are transported to a welding location within the IBS. A welding routine at the welding location includes the tes connecting the first tube and a second tube forming a tube connection. The IBS transfers the medium from or to the first fluidic structure of the first carrier through the tube connection after welding.
