  • Publication number: 20220400071
Abstract: A computing system may comprise a monitoring server system, a target server system, and client devices that may be connected via one or more networks. The monitoring server system may identify client devices to perform a test on the target server system, and may send a payload with instructions for performing the test to the clients. The client devices may determine that the payload is authentic and execute the instructions in the payload, as part of a non-malicious botnet, to perform the test on the target server system. The monitoring server system may receive client-side results from the client devices, and server-side results from the target server system. The monitoring server system may generate a report based on the received results. The report may indicate one or more issues, points of failure and/or recommendations for mitigating the issues and/or points of failure.

  • Publication number: 20220398499
Abstract: Logic may adjust communications between customers. Logic may cluster customers into a first group associated with a first subset of synonyms and a second group associated with a second subset of the synonyms. Logic may associate a first tag with the first group and with each of the synonyms of the first subset. Logic may associate a second tag with the second group and with each of the synonyms of the second subset. Logic may associate one or more models with pairs of the groups. A first pair may comprise the first group and the second group. The first model associated with the first pair may adjust words in communications between the first group and the second group, based on the synonyms associated with the first pair, by replacement of words in a communication between customers of the first subset and customers of the second sub set.

  • Publication number: 20220391913
Abstract: Techniques to improve fraud detection for financial institutions maintaining a network of financial terminals. These techniques are applicable towards identifying instances of multiple account usage with at least one of the financial terminals. Example financial terminals known as Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) capture image data whenever a visitor initiates a financial service (and/or receives something of value) and leverage the techniques described herein to determine whether the visitor is engaged in multiple account usage. Such multiple account usage may occur when the visitor withdraws cash against two different accounts. These techniques are further applicable towards securing the two different accounts from misappropriation.

  • Patent number: 11523153
Abstract: Disclosed are examples for providing functions to receive a media file to be stored in a media repository. In the examples, a location in the media repository may be assigned to the media file. A media file address in a blockchain platform may be assigned to the media file. Metadata including the assigned location in the media repository and the assigned media file address in the blockchain platform may be added to the media file. A media file hash value may be generated by applying a hash function to the media file including the metadata. The media file hash value may be included in a message and uploaded to the assigned media file address in the blockchain platform as a transaction in the blockchain. An indication that the media file is uploaded to the media repository may be delivered to a subscriber device from which the media file was received.

  • Patent number: 11521208
Abstract: Systems and methods for authenticating transactions from a mobile device are described, including authenticating a user and a merchant location. A remote server receives an authentication request from a point-of-sale device, and requests that a user's mobile device use an associated camera to take a picture of the user at the merchant location. The remote server then processes the picture to determine the authenticity of the user and the location, and provides an authentication approval or denial to the point-of-sale device, instructing the point-of-sale device to execute, or not to execute, the transaction.

  • Patent number: 11514434
Abstract: Techniques for providing a localized blockchain that uses a mesh network to facilitate transactions for a localized event are provided. An electronic device can receive data from a localized mesh network to establish the device as a node on the localized mesh network. The established node can generate a cryptocurrency wallet that can be loaded with an initial amount of localized cryptocurrency tokens from a total amount of localized cryptocurrency tokens. The total amount of localized cryptocurrency tokens can be previously mined by a central authority of the localized mesh network. The established node can conduct transactions within the localized mesh network utilizing the localized cryptocurrency tokens. The established node can receive a portion of a cryptocurrency token for transmitting transactional data to a next nearest node on the localized mesh network to help facilitate a transaction involving other nodes on the network.

  • Patent number: 11507959
Abstract: A transaction card receives a first input containing a first touch sequence from a first user and including first touch gestures, determines that the first touch sequence corresponds to a first reference touch sequence associated with the first user, and initiates a first operating mode, associated with the first touch sequence, that is associated with the first user and causes the transaction card to perform a first function. The transaction card receives a second input containing a second touch sequence that is different from the first touch sequence, from a second user and including second touch gestures, and initiates, based on determining that the second touch sequence corresponds to a second reference touch sequence, a second operating mode, associated with the second touch sequence, that is associated with the second user and causes the transaction card to perform a second function that is different from the first function.

  • Patent number: 11495212
Abstract: Techniques to dynamically customize a menu system presented to a user by a voice interaction system are provided. Audio data from a user that includes the speech of a user can be received. Features can be extracted from the received audio data, including a vocabulary of the speech of the user. The extracted features can be compared to features associated with a plurality of user group models. A user group model to assign to the user from the plurality of user group models can be determined based on the comparison. The user group models can cluster users together based on estimated characteristics of the users and can specify customized menu systems for each different user group. Audio data can then be generated and provided to the user in response to the received audio data based on the determined user group model assigned to the user.

  • Patent number: 11494290
Abstract: A system and method of generating one or more integration tests are disclosed herein. A computing system receives a URL from a client device. The URL corresponds to a website hosted by a third party server. The computing system generates a recurrent neural network model for testing of the website. The one or more variables associated with the recurrent neural network model are defined by a genetic algorithm. The computing system inputs code associated with the website into the recurrent neural network model. The recurrent neural network model learns a plurality of possible paths through the website by permutating through each possible set of options on the website. The recurrent neural network mode generates, as output, a plurality of integration tests for at least the test website. The computing system compiles the plurality of integration tests into a format compatible with a testing service specified by the client device.

  • Patent number: 11494691
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for training a model using machine learning. An exemplary method may include providing, by the model in a training session, an action to an environment to receive feedback from the environment. The method may also include generating, by a behavior simulator, a plurality of predicted outcomes from the environment resulting from the action. The method may further include training the model, using at least a subset of the predicted outcomes, to generate a set of candidate models. The method may include receiving actual feedback from the environment and determining whether the actual feedback matches one of the predicted outcomes in the subset. Responsive to the determination that the actual feedback matches one of the predicted outcomes in the subset, the method may include using, in a new training session, the candidate model in the set corresponding to the matched predicted outcome.

  • Patent number: 11481784
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed in which a user engaging in an online or in-person transaction with a merchant may create automatic expiring transactions for a credit card. The user provides the credit card information to an online interface or a point-of-sale device but specifies an expiration date that is on or before the actual expiration date of the credit card, known as an artificial expiration date. A token for the merchant is generated with the artificial expiration date. The issuing bank will honor the transaction with the artificial expiration date using the merchant-specific token, and the token may continue to be used with the online merchant until the artificial expiration date.

  • Patent number: 11481672
Abstract: A database including various datasets and metadata associated with each respective dataset is provided. These datasets were used to train predictive models. The database stores a performance value associated with the model trained with each dataset. When provided with a new dataset, a server can determine various metadata for the new dataset. Using the metadata, the server can search the database and retrieve datasets which have similar metadata values. The server can narrow the search based on the performance value associated with the dataset. Based on the retrieved datasets, the server can recommend at least one sampling technique. The sampling technique can be determined based on the one or more sampling techniques that were used in association with the retrieved datasets.
