Abstract: An electrical system for installation in a building project includes an electrical panel assembly with a chassis and at least one housing and one or more line voltage source connection points mounted to the chassis. The system also includes one or more low voltage power sources mounted to the chassis, wherein the electrical panel assembly is located in a predetermined location in the building project for connection to one or more low voltage components via direct connections and to one or more line voltage outlets.

Abstract: A construction component for use in integrated component-based construction that includes a base member having a predetermined size and a marking fixed to an exterior surface of the base member. The marking including an identifier and at least one indicator, wherein the identifier identifies the base member's location in a centralized building model and the at least one indicator indicates a location of a second construction component relative to the base member.

Abstract: A centralized core and node system for use in an integrated component-based construction projects includes a centralized core configured to be positioned on at least one external wall of a building project. The centralized core includes a core frame to support one or more resource distribution mechanisms and a core shell connected to the frame to at least partially enclose the one or more resource distribution mechanisms and form at least one part of the external wall of the building project. The centralized core and node system also includes at least one resource node. The at least one resource node includes a node frame and at least one resource connection point. The resource connection point including a node input for connection to the centralized core and a node output for distributing a resource to a desired location in the building project.

Abstract: A method of integrated component-based construction includes receiving construction project input data comprising characteristics of a construction project and preparing a centralized construction model based on the construction project input data and on a component library. The component library includes a plurality of construction components having a plurality of predetermined characteristics. The methods also includes determining a construction plan based on the centralized construction model comprising a plurality of factors and sending fabrication instruction data and factor data based on the centralized construction model. The fabrication instruction data includes fabrication instructions for the construction components in the centralized construction model, and the factor data includes grouping instructions for the grouping of the construction components into each factor of the plurality of factors.

The core serves as: 1. the housing for all the home's mechanical, plumbing and electrical sources, and 2. a major structural support, providing three shear walls to the structure. This invention allows access to all of the services thus allowing for ease of maintenance and avoidance of collateral damage during renovations and remodeling.

Abstract: A building in which a core is attached to a ground floor foundation slab; a roof is attached to the upper end of the core; floors of any desired planar shape are attached to the core at the appropriate heights, intermediate the roof and the ground floor foundation slab; and wall panels are attached between the roof and the ground floor foundation slab around the periphery of the building. Also, the floors and roof are attached to the wall panels. The core is preferably as claimed and described in U.S. patent application Ser. No. 12/748,751 and may be attached to one side of the ground floor foundation slab. The floors may extend the entire length and/or width of the building or only a portion of the length and/or width.

The preferred embodiment of this invention comprises a central web having a first surface a second surface, a first side and a second side, with a first right triangular section at the first side and a second right triangular section at the second side. The adjacent leg of the first right triangular section is in line with the second surface and the opposite leg of the first right triangular section projects away from the first surface. Further the adjacent leg of the second right triangular section is in line with the first surface and the opposite leg of the second right triangular section projects away from the second surface.
