A method includes receiving a request from a user to perform an action at an electronic marketplace, retrieving a plurality of risk assessment factors associated with the action and the user, performing a risk assessment process on the risk assessment factors to identify a risk mitigation process, requesting that the user perform the identified risk mitigation process, and allowing the user to perform the action in response to the user completing the risk mitigation.

The impact, combined with user preferences, is used to suggest appropriate applications, which are displayed to the user within the marketplace. If the user selects one of the applications, the application is added to the user's profile and relevant listings are updated with the new application.

Configuration of the software endpoints may also provide for multiple concurrent services each having particular settings, including security restriction settings. Query servicing may be handled based upon the configured endpoint settings.

A first security token service associated with a first security domain is configured to receive a request for a first token from a device and issue the first token based on a first issuing policy of the first security domain. A token authenticator associated with a second security domain is configured to determine that the first token is not issued in the second security domain. A hardware-processor-implemented second security token service is configured to receive the first token from the token authenticator, determine that the first token was issued by the first security token service, and validate the first token based on a local federation policy that defines a federation agreement between the first security domain and the second security domain.

A presentation module, responsive to the determination that the listing does not comply with the one or more marketplace policies, transforms the listing according to the one or more marketplace policies and publishes the transformed listing in the marketplace.

Abstract: A multi-tenancy e-commerce platform to allow sellers to publish listings describing items for sale in one or more marketplaces is described. The platform comprises a distribution scheduler comprising a schedule receiver to receive a distribution schedule from a seller. The distribution scheduler further comprises an execution module, to determine that a delivery time of the listing has arrived, to access the listing from the listing inventory of the seller, and to deliver the listing to the marketplace. The marketplaces respectively comprise a decision system having a policy module to determine if the delivered listing is in compliance with one or more marketplace policies, and if the delivered listing is in compliance, to allow the listing to be published in the marketplace, but if the delivered listing is not in compliance, to not allow the listing to be listed in the marketplace.
