Abstract: A computer program product according to another embodiment includes a computer readable storage medium having program code embodied therewith, the program code being executable by a device for causing the device to perform a method that includes receiving biometric imaging data from a medical device; transmitting a stream of the biometric imaging data of a patient to a remote location; transmitting a video stream depicting a source of the biometric imaging data; receiving instructions to alter an acquisition characteristic of the biometric imaging data from the remote location; and outputting the instructions to alter the acquisition characteristic of the biometric imaging data.
