Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for reducing menopausal symptoms. The method may comprise preparing a topical formulation of hops extract, and administering the topical formulation on to a part of skin. Moreover, preparing the topical formulation of hops extract may include preparing the hops extract, encapsulating the hops extract in cyclodextrin to form hops nanoparticles, and dispersing the hops nanoparticles with a concentration between 5 and 15 percent by weight of the formulation in an ointment-based excipient to form the topical formulation of hops extract.

Abstract: A bleach-free laundry detergent composition containing zero-valent iron nanoparticles. A small amount of nanoparticles with a size range of about 100 nm to about 500 nm replace the bleach and consequently the bleach activator in the laundry detergent composition. These nanoparticles are capable of oxidization which makes them an appropriate alternative for the bleach in a laundry detergent.
