  • Patent number: 12287115
Abstract: A smart air duct/vent cover plate for air conditioning and ventilation can be implemented either as a nested three-cylinder device which or as a cover frame with a flexible layer perforated with through holes. Either device provides selectivity in terms of the amount of airflow provided to an interior ambient air space. The functionality of both devices can be controlled by a wireless handheld remote control.

  • Patent number: 12100297
Abstract: A smart water evaporation system can include a central control unit configured to be in communication with a plurality of thermal rods, a plurality of retractable barriers, and at least one sensor; wherein the central control unit is configured to: retrieve at least one signal from the at least one sensor when the at least one sensor detects an upper limit water level and a lower limit water level; activate the plurality of retractable barriers and the plurality of thermal rods in response to the detected upper limit water level from the at least one sensor being greater than or equal to a preset upper limit water level; and deactivate the plurality of retractable barriers and the plurality of thermal rods in response to the detected lower limit water level from the at least one sensor being less than or equal to a preset lower limit water level.

  • Publication number: 20050177321
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for online health condition monitoring of rotary machinery such as printing presses. The rotary machines have one or more stages and each stage has one or more rotary components. The method comprises the steps of: receiving one or more signals from sensors at each of the rotary units or bearing housings; generating an error matrix and diagnosing rotation synchronization errors among the different stages; generating error matrices using different signal processing techniques and diagnosing the health conditions of rotary components such as gears, bearings and shafts; and identifying the stages and rotary components having imperfections by comparing the current error matrices to stored reference error matrices. The present invention can also be used in other applications involving rotational components such as automobiles, airplanes, and power turbines to name a few.
