    Abstract: A fishing float for attachment to a fishing line comprises a buoyant member and a pulley mounted to the buoyant member, the pulley freely rotatable about its normal axis. A rotatable cover having a pair of opposing arcuate slots encloses the pulley to guide the fishing line onto and off the pulley, enabling the line to move freely through the float.
