Abstract: The invention concerns an emulsifying wax, capable of incorporating water or hydrophilic substances into solid cosmetic compositions, a method for its preparation and the cosmetic products that contain it.

Abstract: The invention relates to a wax of natural origin for cosmetic products consisting of a homogeneous phase of Helianthus annuus sunflower seed wax wherein hydrogenated castor oil is contained. The wax is obtained quickly cooling a molten solution obtained melting separately and then mixing together the aforesaid molten constituents in suitable ratios. The natural origin wax of the invention gives to the cosmetic products containing it useful properties in terms of stability and retains the same flowability of products containing plastic polymers such as polyethylene.
