  • Publication number: 20240022402
Abstract: The present invention describes a method for secure communication between two endpoints comprising a first endpoint connected with a request collector using a first poll-pull communication link, wherein the first endpoint authenticates with the request collector. A second endpoint connects with the request collector using a second poll-pull communication link and authenticates with the request collector. Once both endpoints are authenticated, the first endpoint prepares a first encrypted communication by encrypting a communication, encapsulates the first encrypted communication in a first IP packet and sends the first IP packet to the request collector using the first poll-pull communication link. The request collector receives the first IP packet and extracts and decrypts the first encrypted communication to obtain the communication and prepares a second encrypted communication by encrypting the communication and encapsulates the second encrypted communication in a second IP packet.

  • Patent number: 11665156
Abstract: The present invention comprises scanning, by a mobile device of the user, a QR code generated by a server application when the user requests access to a secure web portal and generating, within a client application, a login code which is used to authenticate the user within an authentication service and then being redirected to the requested portal.

  • Patent number: 11477185
Abstract: A user may securely access a remote virtual machine (RVM) by authenticating with a single sign-on portal (SSOP) connected to a request collector. The request collector is connected to a remote access helper (RAH) associated with the RVM. Upon a user request from the SSOP, a one-time password (OTP) is generated by the RVM and the RAH sends an acceptance notice to the request collector. The request collector generates a payload containing a URL which is sent to the SSOP and connects to the URL downloading a file containing the OTP. The user then connects to and accesses the RVM using the OTP contained in the file.

  • Publication number: 20220286289
Abstract: A method for a user to access resources within a secure network without inputting a username or password is presented and claimed where the method comprises inputting, by the user, login credentials into an authentication service and obtaining from the authentication service at least one secret code; inputting the at least one secret code into an OTCP to initialize the OTCP; generating within the OTCP a one-time code (OTC) utilizing the at least one secret code but not including the user's login credentials or username; supplying, by the user, the OTC to a secure web portal wherein the secure web portal confirms authenticity of the OTC with the authentication service; and the secure web portal supplying access to the user of the secure web portal resources upon receipt of authentication of the user.

  • Patent number: 10791095
Abstract: A user may access resources within a secure network through an agent stored on a first computing device within the secure network which then opens an outbound secure channel through a firewall of the secure network to a request collector stored on a second computing device outside the secure network. The agent waits until the request collector has rendered available on the outbound secure channel a request from the user for access to the resources in the secure network. The agent then reads the request rendered available on the outbound secure channel by the request collector and causes the request to be executed utilizing the resources within the secure network. The agent responds back to the request collector on the outbound secure channel which then responds to the user.

  • Publication number: 20160350326
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for providing concurrency control over remotely- stored data that may be shared across multiple clients via virtual drives. To prevent data corruption that may result from multiple clients concurrently modifying the same file, metadata indicative of a file's locking status may be stored at the remote storage. Existence of such metadata may be checked by a client intending to access the file so that no conflicting sharing permissions may be granted to the same file by different clients. Furthermore, to prevent data corruption that may result from the synchronization of multiple offline copies of a remotely-stored file, a client may be configured to determine, before uploading its offline copy to the remote storage, whether the on line file has been modified. If so, the offline copy may be renamed with a unique name before being uploaded to avoid overwriting changes made by others.
