Abstract: A cyclonic separating device includes first and second cyclonic separating units. The first cyclonic separating unit is fitted over the second cyclonic separating unit. The second cyclonic separating unit includes first cyclones and second cyclones respectively arranged in a ring shape. Dust falling ends of the first cyclones define an accommodation space therebetween. The second cyclones partially extend into the accommodation space. Each first cyclone comprises first, second and third cone sections, each of which has a cone structure; airflow sucked in the first cyclones is sequentially separated by the first, second and third cone sections, and dust in the airflow is discharged from the third cone section; a central axis of the first cone section is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the dust cup; and an angle between a central axis of the second cone section and a central axis of the third cone section is 5°-20°.

Abstract: A water-cooling radiator structure with pump includes a pump having a water outlet and a water inlet; and a water-cooling radiator including a first chamber that has a water-receiving room and a plurality of mutually communicable water passages therein. The water-receiving room is filled with a working fluid that reaches a level. The first chamber is externally provided with an outlet and an inlet as well as a pump mounting recess for mounting the pump therein. The water outlet and the water inlet are located corresponding to the outlet and the inlet, respectively, to be communicable with the water-receiving room and located lower than or flush with the level of the working fluid in the water-receiving room. And, the pump is detachably integrated into the water-cooling radiator. With these arrangements, it is able to overcome the problem of failed operation of the pump when the water-cooling radiator is laid horizontally.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to a method, system, and computer program product for accessing remote desktop applications. In one implementation, a computer-implement method is provided. According to the method, a split view of a window of an application running on a host device is determined at the host device, wherein the split view comprises a plurality of sub-windows, and each of the sub-windows provides a view of a portion of the window. Information about the sub-windows is sent to a client device in communication with the host device. Frame buffer data of at least one of the sub-windows is transmitted to the client device in response to receiving a selection of the at least one sub-window from the client device.

Abstract: Techniques are provided for estimation of human orientation and facial pose, in images that include depth information. A methodology embodying the techniques includes detecting a human in an image generated by a depth camera and estimating an orientation category associated with the detected human. The estimation is based on application of a random forest classifier, with leaf node template matching, to the image. The orientation category defines a range of angular offsets relative to an angle corresponding to the human facing the depth camera. The method also includes performing a three dimensional (3D) facial pose estimation of the detected human, based on detected facial landmarks, in response to a determination that the estimated orientation category includes the angle corresponding to the human facing the depth camera.

Abstract: A system and method for facilitating real-time communication with a caller without a user accepting a call, wherein the system or method: receives a notification of the call; obtains information about the user and the caller from one or more data sources; determines the user's temporal status at a given point in time and the caller's identity based on the information; generates a context-specific message based on the user's temporal status and the caller's identity, wherein the message summarizes the user's temporal status; and provides the message to the caller. Alternatively, the message is a generic message, when the caller's identity cannot be determined.

Abstract: A retrofit lamp is to be used with a ballast. A shunt switch is provided in parallel with an output load and is adapted to shunt input terminals of the lamp using pulse width control so as to tune the current through the lighting element. This current control is used to enable compatibility with different ballasts and to provide dimming control. A detection circuit is used to detect an abnormal drive condition of the retrofit lamp and the pulse width control of the shunt switch can then be overridden by holding the shunt switch at a stable state for a certain duration. This prevents overload conditions and avoids DC signals in the event of component failures.

The computer system uses a user-programmable memory to store virtual SPD data which includes the configuration information of the memory module. The virtual SPD data is stored separately from the system boot code of the computer system. A computing unit uses a memory driver to drive the memory module. The memory driver accesses the user-programmable memory through a virtual SPD module to acquire the configuration information of the memory module.

A methodology embodying the techniques includes segmenting an image into multiple windows and estimating the distance to a subject in each window based on depth pixel values in that window, and filtering to reject windows with sizes that are outside of a desired window size range. The desired window size range is based on the estimated subject distance and the focal length of the depth camera that produced the image. The method further includes generating classifier features for each remaining windows (post-filtering) for use by a cascade classifier. The cascade classifier creates candidate windows for further consideration based on a preliminary detection of a human in any of the remaining windows. The method further includes merging neighboring candidate windows and executing a linear classifier on the merged candidate windows to verify the detection of a human.
