    Abstract: Systems and techniques are described herein for providing variable rate touch sampling for touch sensors. In one illustrative example, a method of processing one or more touch inputs includes determining whether a number of touch inputs received during a first time associated with a scan of a first portion of a touch screen corresponds to a high frequency touch rate or a low frequency touch rate. Based on a determination that the number of touch inputs received during the first time corresponds to the high frequency touch rate, the method can include analyzing the first portion of the touch screen associated with the high frequency touch rate for one or more touch inputs at a first scan rate and a second portion of the touch screen associated with the low frequency touch rate at a second scan rate (which can be lower than the first scan rate).

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may detect one or more triggering conditions indicating that the UE is traveling along the route, and should enter the high mobility operating mode to improve mobility procedure performance or processor performance. Upon entering the high mobility operating mode, the UE may perform mobility procedures, handover procedures, cell selection or reselection, or connection procedures. For example, the UE may determine which cell it is approaching, and which cell it is leaving, along the route, which may allow the UE to avoid being assigned to handover to a cell that it is leaving, prioritize or deprioritize measurement reports for UEs that the UE is leaving or approaching, update the contents or timing of measurement reporting, or the like.
