A cover is mounted removably on the main casing for covering the battery-receiving groove. Two anchoring members are mounted rotatably on the cover, extends into the main casing, and is operable so as to switch between a releasing state, where the abutting tongues are spaced respectively apart from the battery, and a clamping state, where the abutting tongues are pressed respectively against the battery.

When the touch control pen is inserted into a slot defined by a looped surrounding wall of a housing of the portable electronic device, the positioning sleeve contacts watertightly an inner annular surface of the looped surrounding wall of the housing.

Abstract: A handheld electronic device includes: a housing which has complementary first and second housing parts, and one corner formed with a key access hole; a screen mounted to the housing; and a multi-directional key unit which includes a circuit board mounted in the housing, a micro stick switch mounted on the circuit board and connected electrically thereto, and an operating control key coupled to the micro stick switch and disposed in the key access hole. The operating control key has outer dimensions smaller than dimensions of the key access hole so as to permit movement of the operating control key in multiple directions in the key access hole.

Abstract: A multifunctional key device is provided for an electronic product which has a top cover with a receiving hole, and a micro stick switch coupled electrically to a circuit board. The multifunctional key device includes a rubber sealing member sandwiched between the top cover and the circuit board, and a key button body. The rubber sealing member includes a skirt portion extending upwardly from a top face thereof into the receiving hole, and a button coupling portion integral with the skirt portion and having a top open end. The key button body is fitted to the micro stick switch, and has a top end face exposed from the top open end of the button coupling portion to permit a user's finger to press directly the key button body.

Abstract: A card-securing device has a plate body for securing a card to a printed circuit board. The plate body includes a main plate, and a pair of side-securing plates and an end-securing plate which extend transversely from the main plate. Each of the side-securing plates and the end-securing plate has a base portion connected to the main plate, a neck portion extending and reduced in length from the corresponding base portion, and a tab portion bent and extending from the corresponding neck portion through the printed circuit board to anchor on a bottom surface of the printed circuit board.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a housing and a connector port cover. The housing is provided with a connector port accessible via an access hole, and an anchor hole disposed proximate to one end of the access hole. The connector port cover is operable for covering and uncovering the connector port, and includes a deformable and water-impervious sealer layer, a rigid pressing layer, and a fastener. The sealer layer has an anchor extension connected to the housing at the anchor hole. The anchor extension is stretchable along the length thereof, and pulls the sealer layer toward said connector port. The pressing layer is connected integrally to the sealer layer. The fastener is operable between tightened and loosened states for retaining releasably the connector port cover at a covering position.

Abstract: A watertight key unit includes a key and an elastic sealing part. The key is mounted on a key-mounting wall, extends through a key-inserting hole in the key-mounting wall, and has a peripheral wall. The sealing part extends from a lower end of the peripheral wall of the key, has a peripheral wall that surrounds the peripheral wall of the key, and cooperates with the peripheral wall of the key to define a spacing groove therebetween. The peripheral wall of the sealing part is surrounded by and abuts elastically and sealingly against a hole-defining wall of the key-inserting hole.
