Publication number: 20250077658Abstract: Techniques are disclosed that relate to predicting whether a computer-based interaction is being performed by a computer bot. A computer system may receive information describing exhibited user-presence indicators of different types that are associated with the computer-based interaction, including user-presence indicators indicative of whether the computer-based interaction is being performed by a computer bot. The computer system performs a first embedding operation to create a unified embedding that unifies the exhibited user-presence indicators into a single embedding that is representative of an aggregation of the exhibited user-presence indicators. The computer system performs a second embedding operation to create a difference embedding that is representative of a set of differences between expected user-presence indicators for the computer-based interaction and the exhibited user-presence indicators.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 31, 2023Publication date: March 6, 2025Inventors: Zhe Chen, Panpan Qi, Solomon Kok How Teo, Yuzhen Zhuo, Quan Jin Ferdinand Tang, Omkumar Mahalingam, Fei Pei, Mandar Ganaba Gaonkar

Patent number: 12216745Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for bot detection. A movement of a pointing device is tracked via a graphical user interface (GUI) of an application executable at a user device. Movement data associated with different locations of the pointing device within the GUI is obtained. The movement data is mapped to functional areas corresponding to a range of the different locations of the pointing device within the GUI over consecutive time intervals. At least one vector representing a sequence of movements for at least one trajectory of the pointing device through one or more of the functional areas and a duration the pointing device stays within each functional area is generated. At least one trained machine learning model is used to determine whether the sequence of movements of the pointing device was produced through human interaction with the pointing device by an actual user of the user device.Type: GrantFiled: December 27, 2022Date of Patent: February 4, 2025Assignee: PAYPAL, INC.Inventors: Zhe Chen, Jiyi Zhang, Hewen Wang, Panpan Qi, Quan Jin Ferdinand Tang, Solomon kok how Teo, Yuzhen Zhuo, Mandar Ganaba Gaonkar, Fei Pei, Omkumar Mahalingam

Publication number: 20240423221Abstract: Provided are a Pantoea agglomerans (P. agglomerans) strain FL1 and use thereof in improving dough processing characteristics, which belong to the technical field of food fermentation. The P. agglomerans strain FL1 was deposited on May 4, 2023, with a deposit number of CGMCC NO. 27248. Compared with that made using only common yeast, the dough made by co-fermentation of the P. agglomerans strain FL1 and yeast exhibits a more robust gluten protein network structure, increased resisillence during kneading, and reduced hardness, and results in bread with a larger volume and softer texture.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 19, 2024Publication date: December 26, 2024Inventors: Guangyu Wang, Yi Zhang, Fang Ma, Fei Pei, Weifen Qiu

Publication number: 20240424041Abstract: The present disclosure provides a Flammulina velutipes proteoglycan (FPG) and a dual-wavelength screening method and use thereof, and relates to the technical field of biomedicine. In the present disclosure, components such as polysaccharides, proteoglycan (PG), and free proteins in the Flammulina velutipes are extracted through water extraction. The free proteins are removed by protein removal, and the polysaccharides and PG are separated by alcohol precipitation. Sepharose FF ion exchange chromatography and Sephadex G-200 chromatography separation are conducted with water as an eluent. Dual-wavelength detection is conducted to collect an eluate with absorption peaks at both 480 nm and 295 nm wavelengths, such that a component—the FPG, which has a protein structure and a polysaccharide structure, is retained.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 11, 2024Publication date: December 26, 2024Inventors: Wenjian YANG, Ye HU, Qiuhui HU, Anxiang SU, Minhao XIE, Fei PEI, Jianhui LIU, Hui XU

Publication number: 20240417815Abstract: A qualitative and quantitative detection primer set, a kit and a detection method for scented rice are provided. The scented rice and non-scented rice are qualitatively analyzed by fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and the scented rice with different adulteration ratios is calculated by a 2-??CT method, so that the scented rice and the non-scented rice of different varieties can be accurately identified. Primers are designed for specific fragments of the scented rice and the non-scented rice respectively based on the principle of amplification-refractory mutation system (ARMS)-PCR, and qualitative identification of the scented rice can be achieved by agarose gel electrophoresis or fluorescence quantitative PCR according to different laboratory conditions. Combined with internal reference primers for the calculation of gene level by fluorescence quantitative PCR method of scented rice and/or non-scented rice can achieve the adulteration detection of the scented rice quantitatively.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 12, 2023Publication date: December 19, 2024Inventors: Yong Fang, Xinyue Li, Peng Li, Changrui Xing, Fei Pei, Qinlu Lin

Patent number: 6751565Abstract: Waveform data contains waveform signals having transition events and is subdivided into data blocks. Indexing elements are provided for each waveform signal that correspond to a time range of the waveform data, and have a pointer to a data block within which transition events for the waveform signal are stored. Each indexing element has a maximum interval value that indicates the maximum amount of time spanned between transition events of the waveform signal. A minimum time resolution that may be adequately resolved on the display is computed. For indexing elements having maximum interval values that exceed the minimum time resolution, the pointers of the indexing elements are used to access and draw transition events for the waveform signals. For indexing elements having maximum interval values that are less than the minimum time resolution, a predetermined image in place of transition events for the waveform signals is drawn.Type: GrantFiled: June 21, 2002Date of Patent: June 15, 2004Assignee: Springsoft, Inc.Inventors: Edwin Kurt Naroska, Fei-Pei Lai, Chung-Chia Chen
