  • Publication number: 20200233968
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to sharing data. A first computer system may receive data shared by a second computer system to permit the first computer system to perform processing of the data according to a set of policies. The first computer system may instantiate a verification environment in which to process the shared data. The first computer system may process a portion of the shared data by executing a set of processing routines to generate a result based on the shared data. The verification environment may verify whether the result is in accordance with the set of policies. The verification environment may determine whether to output the result based on the verifying and may send an indication of an outcome of the determining to the second computer system. The indication may be usable to determine whether to provide the first computer system with continued access to the shared data.

  • Publication number: 20200236143
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to the management of data. A data provider computer system may store particular data of a user. The data provider computer system may commence sharing of a portion of the particular data with a data consumer computer system. The data provider computer system may continue sharing additional portions of the particular data with the data consumer computer system in response to receiving a report from a verification environment indicating that the particular data is being utilized by the data consumer computer system in accordance with a specified usage policy.

  • Publication number: 20200236124
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to data management. A computer system may evaluate network traffic to extract and group data objects based on their content satisfying similarity criteria, and to identify baseline behavior with respect to those data objects. The computer system may generate data-defined network (DDN) data structures that include a content class and one or more behavioral classes. The content class may be indicative of one or more of the data objects that have been grouped based on them satisfying the similarity criteria. The one or more behavioral classes may indicate baseline behavior of those data objects within the content class as determined from evaluation of the network traffic. The computer system may detect, using the DDN data structures, anomalous data behavior within network traffic. In response to detecting anomalous data behavior, the computer system may prevent network traffic corresponding to the anomalous data behavior from being communicated.

  • Patent number: 8896990
Abstract: An electronic device cover includes a protection member and a support. The protection member includes a protection plate. The support member is rotatably mounted to the protection member and includes a support plate. The support member is rotatable between a protection position and a support position relative to the protection member; when the support member is in the support position, the support member supports the protection plate in a stand position, and the protection plate and the support plate define a corner therebetween; when the support member is in the protection position, the protection plate and the support plate are unfolded and define a receiving space.

  • Patent number: 8392357
Abstract: A trust network database has any number of nodes, each node representing a user e-mail address. Links between nodes represent whether one user trusts another. Trust (that the recipient is trusted) is established when a sender sends an e-mail message to a recipient. The recipient is effectively placed on the white list for the sender. A legitimate e-mail address creates a strong trust link, otherwise it is weak. A spam count tracks by an amount of spam sent by each node. Outgoing e-mail messages are screened to make a determination that the sender trusts the recipient and that information is added to a local or remote trust network. Incoming e-mail messages are first screened to determine that the sender is legitimate. Then, the sender and recipient e-mail addresses are forwarded to the trust network to make a determination as to whether the recipient trusts the sender. A score (based upon number and type of links into or out of a node, the spam count for the node, etc.

  • Patent number: 8103627
Abstract: Information such as message identifier, sender, recipient, timestamp, etc., are recorded in a record in a local database as an e-mail message is sent out. A DSN counter is set equal to the total number of recipients, thus allowing returned messages to be compared against this counter to thwart a capture/replay attack. When a DSN message is received at the computer system it includes the originally sent e-mail message. The DSN message may be legitimate or it may be a faked DSN message. The system searches the local database for a record having information that matches with the returned e-mail message. If a match exists, the DSN message is legitimate and it is delivered to the original sender. If no match exists, then the DSN message has been faked and appropriate action is taken. When a match occurs, a match count value is incremented for that record and compared against the originally stored DSN count value.

  • Publication number: 20070155844
Abstract: A linking apparatus applied to a disk drive with a transmission component and a reading component is provided. The linking apparatus includes an elastic body and a connecting component. The connecting component is movably connected to the transmission component. A side of the elastic body is connected to the reading component, and the other side of the elastic body is connected to the connecting component. When the transmission component transmits the linking apparatus to indirectly drive the reading component and force the connecting component to deflect, the elastic body restores the connecting component to a stable status. The method of manufacturing a linking apparatus includes the following steps. Firstly, a connecting component is injection-molded. Next, an elastic body is stamped. Lastly, the connecting component is connected to a side of the elastic body.
