    Abstract: A security system for an automobile starter system is an electrical installation on the automobile whereby the starter system of the automobile can be actuated only when a correct ignition key to the automobile is used. Also, the starter system is safeguarded from being mistakenly actuated as the automobile motor is running. Two types of electrical circuit configuration are proposed to perform the automobile starter system security functions. The first electrical circuit configuration utilizes the analog circuitries applied with voltage window detection concept. The other electrical circuit configuration utilizes the sequential digital circuitries applied with the signal code detection concept.

The color variation components are suggested to be configured with triangular pyramidal shape that are radially placed around the horizontal center of a circular color mixing unit sequentially in the direction of the color mixing unit motion. Different combination of colors selected on each color variation component on the color mixing unit can generate different colors when the color mixing unit is set in motion by the motion manipulation unit.

    Abstract: A universal hinge is a hinge with the capability of performing stop and hold mechanisms without installing extra stop and/or catch components on an object abutted to the universal hinge. The universal hinge comprises a hinge body, a stop mechanism, and a hold mechanism. Both the stop mechanism and the hold mechanism of the universal hinge are provided by specially shaped hinge knuckles while no extra component is needed. An alternative improvement of the universal hinge is provided by adding a specially designed self-locking spring-bushing assembly which comprises a conical spring and a step-configured ring bushing. The self-locking spring-bushing assembly complying with the stop and hold mechanisms can serve the improved universal hinge with the adjustable stop angle capability.

    Abstract: In a unified washing-drying machine, the use of conventional drying means is eliminated and, instead, an electromagnetic heating system is provided at an appropriate place in the unified washing-drying machine as a means to thermally evaporate the remaining moisture in the washed fabrics during the drying cycle. A high-pressure air system with the air nozzle assemblies imbedded on the agitator is installed in the unified washing-drying machine such that the high-pressure air flow from the air nozzle assemblies can float the washed fabrics to have the evaporated steam or water vapor removed efficiently. Also, the high-pressure air flow can have the washed fabrics circulate and tumble well to prevent wrinckles from setting on the washed fabrics. Thus, with the invented unified washing-drying machine contineous, uninterrupted cleaning and drying cycles can be achieved with the additional benefit of saving space by eliminating an extra dryer installment as in a conventional laundry system.

    Abstract: A method of providing an efficient underground irrigation means is introduced to deliver the irrigation liquid from a supply or supplies through an underground irrigation means to the areas to be irrigated without sending the irrigation liquid above the ground. This underground irrigation means comprises a control means and an irrigation liquid distribution means. The control means is used to control the speed, timing, or pressure of the irrigation liguid flow to accomplish the optimal irrigation results. The irrigation liquid distribution means transfer the irrigation liquid from supplies through the control means to irrigation liquid conducting means and, then, from the irrigation liquid conducting means to the diffusion irrigation means. The diffusion irrigation means, being appropriately laid out in the area to be irrigated, disperses the irrigation liquid over the areas to be irrigated.

    Abstract: A universal voltage-controlled multivibrator comprises a signal state conversion circuit and a feedback circuit. The signal state conversion circuit has the output states as a function of the input states. The feedback circuit, containing multiple controlling input terminals, has a propagation delay time as a function of the electrical signal applied to the controlling input terminals. One output of the signal state conversion circuit is connected to one input of the feedback circuit and the output of the feedback circuit is connected to one input of the signal state conversion circuit such that the output of the signal state conversion circuit is fed back to its input to have the period of its output signal be controllable by the signals applied to the controlling input terminals of the feedback circuit.

    Abstract: A steady pin, which is renovated from a push pin, contains a threaded stem and an elliptical cylinder head with a vertical concave periphery surface. The threaded stem can provide the steady pin with a better horizontal load holding capability and a better tacking repetability at the same tacked position on a wall or a board when the steady pin is tacked by a user. The elliptical head of the steady pin can generate a proper amount of torque on a steady pin by user's thumb and index finger such that the rotating motion of the steady pin is easy to be performed. The vertical concave periphery surface on the steady pin head is utilized to generate a vertical force from the user's fingers to push the steady pin into or pull the steady pin out of a wall, bulletin, or notice board.
