  • Patent number: 12638929
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing interactions between virtual and physical participants are disclosed. A synchronizing computer program receives a physical location and orientation of a physical portal device in a physical environment. The physical portal device includes a monitor and a computer processor executing an augmented reality application. The synchronizing computer program aligns the physical location and orientation with a virtual location and orientation of a virtual portal rendered in a virtual environment. A remote user computer program executed by a remote user electronic device receives the virtual location and orientation from the synchronizing computer program and renders the virtual portal in the virtual environment. The augmented reality application streams augmented reality video of the physical environment from the physical portal device to the remote user computer program, which displays the augmented reality video in the virtual portal.

  • Publication number: 20260023827
Abstract: A method may include: a policy control computer program receiving, from a headset, an anchor identifier for an anchor in response to the headset being proximate to the anchor; (2) the policy control computer program identifying an area in which the headset is located by retrieving the area mapped to the anchor identifier in a mapping of a plurality of anchor identifiers to a plurality of areas; the policy control computer program identifying a streaming policy for the area, wherein the streaming policy restricts audio and/or video streaming from the area, allows audio and/or video streaming from the area, or restricts audio and/or video streaming from the area; the policy control computer program sending, a control signal to the headset based on the streaming policy; and the headset implementing the control signal to control streaming of audio and/or video to the policy control computer program.

  • Publication number: 20250225749
Abstract: In some aspects, the techniques described herein relate to a method including: generating, by a reinforcement learning engine, a plurality of user states within a simulated 3-dimensional environment; generating, by the reinforcement learning engine and for each of the plurality of user states, a plurality of movement actions, wherein each of the plurality of movement actions place a virtual content object in a corresponding position within the simulated 3-dimensional environment; generating, by the reinforcement learning engine and for each corresponding position of the virtual content object, a reward value, wherein the reward value reflects a relative utility of the corresponding position of the virtual content object; and updating, by the reinforcement learning engine, a placement policy based on the reward value for each corresponding position of the virtual content object.
