Abstract: A nursing pad for placement inside a cup-like portion of a bra-like garment includes a conical structure of an absorbent material, such as layers of a fabric material or of a paper-like material. The conical structure has an apex, an outer boundary, and a V-shaped portion extending from the apex to the outer boundary, with the absorbent material being overlapped in the V-shaped portion. Preferably threaded stitching, such as zigzag stitching or surger stitching, secures the absorbent material overlapped in the V-shaped portion and around the outer boundary.
