  • Patent number: 11453004
Abstract: A fluidic manifold cartridge includes a plurality of source fluid inlets and fluid outlets. A plurality of fluid input flow channels are provided. Each fluid inlet is in fluid communication with a fluid input flow channel. Each fluid input flow channel directs fluid from the fluid inlet past a plurality of valves. A plurality of fluid output flow channels are in fluid communication with a fluid outlets. Each valve includes a valve seat, a portion of membrane, and a control fluid opening. Each valve has an open and closed condition. The valve in the open condition directs fluid from a fluid input flow channel to a fluid output flow channel. The control fluid opening directs control fluid to move the membrane so as to change the valve between the open and closed conditions. Systems and methods for fluidic manifold are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 11331460
Abstract: A dilator device including an elongated flexible material sleeve having a hollow interior extending along a distal portion and a proximal portion thereof. An expandable or inflatable bladder is connected to the distal portion and disposable radially outward from an exterior of the sleeve when in an expanded and/or inflated orientation. The elongated sleeve including a tip having a predetermined configuration that facilitates positioning the elongated sleeve within an intended body part. A fluid input is structured for removable connection to a fluid source and is disposed on the sleeve, in fluid communication with the bladder. An access opening is formed on the proximal portion and is cooperatively dimensioned with the hollow interior to removably receive any one of a plurality of different types of positioning instruments within the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 11278447
Abstract: A thermal therapy headgear for a patient includes a plurality of thermal reaction compartments, a liquid chamber, a gas chamber, and a gas container. The thermal reaction compartments contain a first of at least two thermal reaction components, and the liquid chamber contains the second thermal reaction component. The gas container has therein a pressurized gas and a gas valve for selectively releasing the pressurized gas into the gas chamber. The gas in the gas chamber will apply pressure to the liquid chamber and force the second thermal reaction component through the valve and into the thermal reaction compartments to react and transfer heat with the patient, and the presence of the gas within the gas chamber will cushion the patient. A method for conducting hypothermic therapy is also disclosed.
