Both the side posts and the crossbar of the goal comprise a rigid core of metal, wood or similar, of variable configuration in transverse cross-section, surrounded by a spongy cellular covering based on epdm, and the latter covered in turn by an external layer of polyethylene coated with polyurethane paint.
