  • Patent number: 12020441
Abstract: A method of estimating the movement between two images (I1, I2) comprising the steps of determining an initialization displacement vector between the two images by projecting, in the image plane of the image capture device, the displacement between the two images calculated depending on collected information defining the movement of the image capture device between the two images and depending on the value of image capture parameter(s) used, chosen from an angular opening, a zoom factor and the resolution of the images implementing, based on the initialization displacement vector, an iterative algorithm delivering a displacement vector depending on an error function to be minimized between one of the two images and the transform of the other image by the displacement vector.

  • Patent number: 10223076
Abstract: A method may include displaying an output, e.g., a figure, a data set, a symbolic expression or equation, a model, or any object with a representation that can be manipulated, e.g., a tree, a list, or a control loop, from executing program code. The method may include receiving an indication that the output has been modified through one or more manipulations, and generating code that represents modifications to the output, such that executing the code with the program code generates the output that has been modified.

  • Patent number: 9613017
Abstract: A device receives text that includes data values, and parses the text to identify data types associated with the data values. The device generates, based on the data values and the data types, a graphical representation of the text that includes data cells corresponding to the data values, and provides the graphical representation for display. The device receives one or more selections of one or more data cells in the graphical representation, stores the one or more selections as a selection history, and provides the selection history for display.

  • Patent number: 9585275
Abstract: Electronic devices may have housings in which components are mounted. Some of the components may be sensitive to moisture. Other components may be insensitive to moisture and may form openings in a device housing that allow moisture to escape from within the housing. Components may be mounted on substrates such as printed circuit board substrates. Moisture repelling layers and moisture attracting layers may be patterned to form channels and other structures that guide moisture away from sensitive components towards insensitive components. Moisture repelling and attracting layers may also be used to limit the lateral spread of a conformal coating layer when coating components.

  • Patent number: 8982547
Abstract: Electronic devices are provided that have components. A housing protrusion may be interposed between a display cover layer and display components. A button may have a button member. A support structure for a dome switch in the button may have a screw hole. A housing may have screw holes through which a screw passes. The screw may also pass through the screw hole of the support structure to hold the switch structure near the button member. A clip may have a spring. A metal plate may prevent the clip from becoming worn by the spring. A display may be mounted on a ledge in a device housing. The ledge may have gaps with supports and removed corners.

  • Patent number: 8941610
Abstract: A computing device includes a capacitively coupled antenna provided in a display portion of the device. An antenna pattern is provided on a backside of a touch screen display. An antenna element is provided in a display housing. The touch screen is attached to the display housing a dielectric adhesive. The dielectric adhesive prevents the antenna pattern from contacting the antenna element such that the antenna pattern is capacitively coupled to the antenna element.

  • Patent number: 8766124
Abstract: A dome switch can include a dome mounted to a circuit board and secured by a sheet constructed from a material that is impermeable to air. To allow air enclosed by a volume between the dome and the circuit board to be expelled when the dome is depressed, the sheet can include at least one venting hole through which air can flow to the environment of the switch. To prevent contaminants from accessing the volume between the dome and the circuit board through the at least one venting hole, the dome switch can include a membrane positioned over the venting hole. The membrane can be constructed from a material that is permeable to air, but impermeable to contaminants. In some cases, the membrane can be constructed from a mesh material.
