Abstract: A modular, high density electrical system is disclosed which makes use of an interface component, which is well suited to being placed in contact with an anatomy of either a human or an animal, and which may be releasably coupled to an electronics module subsystem. The interface component has a plurality of electrically conductive interconnect pads that may be releasably secured by a member to a plurality of electrically conductive pads of the electronics module subsystem. The electronics module subsystem may have a substrate which supports both an electronics circuit and the interconnect pads.

Abstract: The apparatus and related method employ fluid pressure to first separate the water accumulation chamber from the filtration chamber of a filter assembly by closing fluid flow pathways that allow water to flow into the accumulation chamber. With the chambers separated, fluid pressure is applied to the accumulation chamber to open a drain valve and push water out of the accumulation chamber. The period for which pressure is applied to the accumulation chamber can be regulated by sensors detecting a low water level, or can be timed, or both. When the water removal is completed, the fluid pressure is removed and fluid communication between the filtration chamber and the water accumulation chamber is restored.

Abstract: A method includes installing new communication interfaces in first process controllers of an industrial process control and automation system. The first process controllers are configured to communicate over a first supervisory network, and the communication interfaces are configured to communicate over a second supervisory network of a different type. The method also includes migrating the first process controllers to second process controllers of a different type while maintaining control over an industrial process being controlled by the first process controllers. The second process controllers are configured to communicate over the second supervisory network.

Abstract: Techniques for efficiently loading graph data into memory are provided. A plurality of node ID lists are retrieved from storage. Each node ID list is ordered based on one or more order criteria, such as node ID, and is read into memory. A new list of node IDs is created in memory and is initially empty. From among the plurality of node ID lists, a particular node ID is selected based on the one or more order criteria, removed from the node ID list where the particular node ID originates, and added to the new list. This process of selecting, removing, and adding continues until no more than one node ID list exists, other than the new list. In this way, the retrieval of the plurality of node ID lists from storage may be performed in parallel while the selecting and adding are performed sequentially.

A server may generate notifications associated with the project. The notifications may prompt the recipient to capture media content associated with the project. The notification may include a selectable element that, when selected, launches and controls a camera application for capturing the media content, and may indicate various types of media content to be captured. Once the media content has been captured, the media content may be reviewed for compliance with one or more rules, and, once captured and verified for rules compliance, may be provided to a server configured to present the media content and other information associated with a home or project to a user, such as a homeowner.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device and to a method for monitoring a decentralized power generation plant for feeding into a three-phase network in order to prevent undesired island network operation, wherein the power generation plant has an inverter, which produces three alternating currents phase-shifted from each other from an input-side direct voltage, in particular of a photovoltaic generator, which alternating currents are fed into the network. The basis of the monitoring method is that the target power value for a designated phase of the network alternating voltage is changed, e.g. reduced, by a predetermined first amount for a predetermined time period while the target power values for the other two phases are changed in the opposite direction, e.g. increased, by a predetermined second and/or third amount. The sum of the second and third amounts equals the first amount.

Abstract: A system and method are presented for on premise and offline survivability of an interactive voice response system in a cloud telephony system. Voice interaction control may be divided from the media resources. Survivability is invoked when the communication technology between the Cloud and the voice interaction's resource provider is degraded or disrupted. The system is capable of recovering after a disruption event such that a seamless transition between failure and non-failure states is provided for a limited impact to a user's experience. When communication paths or Cloud control is re-established, the user resumes normal processing and full functionality as if the failure had not occurred.
