    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an energy store housing assembly for a motor vehicle. The energy store housing assembly includes an energy store housing and an underride guard coupled to a bottom side of the energy store housing. The underride guard includes a sandwich arrangement, which includes an upper cover plate disposed on the top side of the sandwich arrangement facing the energy store housing, a lower cover plate disposed on the bottom side of the sandwich arrangement, and a filling material disposed between the upper cover plate and the lower cover plate. The underride guard includes a plurality of ribs extending along the top side of the sandwich arrangement.
