Abstract: To configure a machine controller for a machine, a plurality of state signals of a first state space is read in, each state signal being assigned an optimized control signal. Using the state signals, a first signal converter is trained to convert state signals from the first state space into a second state space which is dimension-reduced in comparison with the first state space. A second signal converter is trained to reproduce corresponding optimized control signals by converting reduced state signals by means of the conversion rule. Thus, the machine controller is designed to convert a state signal of the machine into a reduced state signal by means of the trained first signal converter and to convert the reduced state signal into an optimized control signal by means of the trained second signal converter, the optimized control signal being used to control the machine.

Abstract: A method and arrangement for providing access of a first computer to at least one application installed on a virtual machine of a second computer via a network connection, wherein at a first step, a Remote Desktop Protocol connection (RDP-C) is established from the first computer to the virtual machine and, at a second step, at least one communication relation of the first computer to an industrial controller is made available to the at least one application as a local communication relation of the application from the virtual machine to the first computer via a virtual channel of the RDP-C connection such that from a user's perspective, only exactly one connection to the virtual machine must be established via the RDP-C, where required back channels can be automatically established and where no security settings must be changed in firewalls or routers.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for operating a filling adapter for filling refrigerant R744 into vehicle air conditioning systems as well as to a corresponding adapter. The adapter comprises mechanical clamping elements actuated by a pneumatically or mechanically controlled clamping piston. The clamping elements are clamped b the clamping system onto specifically designed sections of the vehicle air conditioning system for the filling process and are kept in the clamping position during the filling process. The clamping piston comprises at least two separate piston surfaces to be subjected to the pressure of two different pressurization media, one piston surface being effectively connected to the control pressure of the filling adapter and the other piston surface being effectively connected to the filling pressure of the refrigerant.
