  • Patent number: 10307920
Abstract: A hair clipper variable comb attachment, for use with a hair clipper having a fixed upper blade and a movable lower blade, including a blade mount, a main part, a comb carrier, and a pair of adjustment pegs. The comb carrier has a front and a plurality of longitudinally extending tines that increase in height as they extend rearwardly. The blade mount secures to the fixed upper blade of the clipper. The comb carrier is slidably attached onto the main part so that as the adjustment pegs are rotated the comb carrier can move forwardly with respect to the blade to increase cutting height of the clipper and can move rearwardly to decrease cutting height. Adjustment of the comb carrier position and thus the cutting height can be made without removing the comb attachment from the hair clipper.

  • Publication number: 20080310962
Abstract: The invention relates to an air-jet propeller comprising three bodies. The first body or head takes the form of a half-ellipse, the upper part of which is provided with a grille, while the lower part thereof is closed at one section, said first body being equipped with a closure ring. The second body or central part takes the form of a tubular cylinder comprising a helical round honeycomb rotor which is coupled to a spark ignition engine. The third body or rear part takes the form of a truncated cone and is equipped with a series of openings, gates and butterfly valves which balance, stabilise and direct the aircraft, such as to reduce fuel consumption and, consequently, pollution since the aircraft can fly at low speeds (km/h), thereby facilitating landing and take-off with minimum runway lengths and eliminating the risks associated with the high speed required for take-off and landing.

  • Publication number: 20070274836
Abstract: ROUND HONEYCOMB ROTOR to improve the performance of conventional propellers being used as rotor for aircraft, motorized pumps, vessels as well as for any use in hydraulic or pneumatic applications. It has helical pieces starting from its cube or circular nucleus and mounted on one or several tubular cylinders which are concentric between them. On the one hand the cylinder with largest diameter will have a conical main piece in order to control and direct centrifugal forces on their way out. On the other hand helical pieces come together shaping helical trapezoids which are fitted one onto the other giving the whole thing a round honeycomb shape. The outer perimeters are totally closed down allowing the combination of all centrifugal forces improving over ten times the performance of conventional propellers in any of the already mentioned applications.

  • Patent number: 7244103
Abstract: Round honeycomb rotor for wind generators and most propellers has bent tubular trapezoids, two or more concentric tubular cylinders and a variable number of round bent tubular trapezoids. Both cylinders and trapezoids form modular trapezoidal tubes, which have large wind contact surfaces. The concentric tubular cylinders of the round panel have bent pieces fitted in between them whose function is to minimise wind exit and multiply wind contact surfaces in wind generators. As for propeller rotors the number of round bent tubular trapezoids gets multiplied as well as its wind contact surfaces, which results in the optimum use of most centrifugal propelling forces thanks to the reduction of wind entrance and the amplification of wind exit.

  • Patent number: 6685146
Abstract: A piñata-manipulating stand for more easily maneuvering and controlling a piñata. The piñata-manipulating stand includes an arm assembly for supporting and controlling a piñata. An upright support member is provided for supporting the arm assembly. A coupling assembly is coupled to and positioned between the arm assembly and the upright support member for rotationally coupling the arm assembly to the upright support member. A base member is mounted to an end of the upright support member for supporting the upright support member in an upright position.

  • Patent number: 4563528
Abstract: 5-Pyridinyl-6-R.sub.2 -3-R.sub.1 -2(1H)-pyridinones (I), where R.sub.2 is hydrogen or lower alkyl and R.sub.1 is a cyano, a carbamoyl or an amino group are prepared: by reaction of 1-R.sub.2 -1-oxo-2-pyridinyl-3-dialkylaminopropane (II) with malonamide under solid-liquid or liquid-liquid phase transfer catalysis conditions to obtain 1,2-dihydro-2-oxo-6-R.sub.2 -5-pyridinylnicotinamide (IV), or by reaction of II with cyanoacetamide under solid-liquid or liquid-liquid phase transfer catalysis conditions to obtain 1,2-dihydro-2-oxo-6-R.sub.2 -5-pyridinylnicotinonitrile (III) and partially hydrolizing III to yield IV; finally the carbamoyl group of IV is converted to amino and 1,2-dihydro-2-oxo-6-R.sub.2 -5-pyridinyl-3-aminopyridin-2-one are obtained.
