    Abstract: Assembly mounts are stochastically or periodically detuned by changing their spring rate in order to prevent the transient effect of stuttering vibration of the drive assembly of a motor vehicle. The adjustment of the spring rate by at least a factor of 5 takes place for a time period which corresponds to no more than one fifth of the vibration duration of the stuttering movement.
